We also don't release crap just because we have it available. 99% of the builds since 20931 are unstable dogfood builds, which we choose not to inflict upon everyone. We also try to stick to original, quality bases. Many of the kitchens here are based on franken-ports, rather than original material - just say No. You may not get things as fast from us as others, but when you get it, it's quality. We also try not to piss in Microsoft's pool - sometimes that means delaying releases. lol you obviously are out of the loop and don't have a clue what you are talking about.

Re: WM6.1 21042 kitchen
Very cool. Thanks gguru; sorry didn't mean to stir anything up. I was just hoping for a long awaited update. And you guys came through!
Happy Easter. Kind of appropriate... new kitchen on a celebration of resurrection. I hope that's not sacriligous to anyone. |

Re: WM6.1 21042 kitchen
Well. I reinstalled BuildOS.
Then found that there were a LOT of updates on UPDATER for me. So after about an hour and almost at the end, I get a message that that there was an error and it couldn't copy the Victor core file (or something like that). Then it rolls back all the updates it already did! Why does it roll back the other ones when just one of them (in this case, the last one) doesn't work properly? Is that really necessary? Now running the updater and will do all of them individually to avoid that action. -------- Well, running the updater for those files individually worked. All updates applied. --------------- Got the Kitchen running. At the end of everything loading, I got an error window that says: "Kitchens\PPCKitchen_OEM_VGA.rar:Raphael_Album\opt ion.xml Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx)." Clicked OK and everything continued. -------------------- Oops. Started making selections and when I got to selecting the HTC Calculator, I got an error message that BuildOS had encountered an error and had to close. That's all folks! I can't seem to get past this and I don't want to build a ROM without a calculator. So here's a screenshot of the error- I tried again and tried to select the calculator first- nothing else selected- and still got the error. Last edited by Trident; 04-12-2009 at 03:47 PM. |

Where or how do I do a redownload of the new OEMs? I went to the PPCKitchen site- nothing that looked like what I needed there. I just ran Updater again- that seems to have found some stuff. Actually, a lot of OEMs. I guess that's it. Last edited by Trident; 04-12-2009 at 07:51 PM. |
