OMJ's 2.00 Custom Diamond ROMs CE OS 5.2.20764 w/ UC! Updated 2/2/09

I think I will go ahead and try to 2.00 ROM. Just want to get a little more familiar with Sashimi so I have less to do every time I reflash.

Also, forgot to mention that both times I've flashed your ROMs I've had issues with TouchPal. I love TouchPal but when I use the version you have cooked into your ROM I get a popup every time telling me to register it. I also can't adjust the keyboard size or flow to the different keyboards. If I reinstall TouchPal on top of the one in the ROM it then works but this seems kind of redundant and I end up with a TouchPal folder on both the Device Memory and the Storage Card (where I reinstalled it). It's obviously using the original folder as my new word dictionary goes there but it won't work correctly until I install it again. Is this something I'm doing wrong?

Hey, I'm new here but not new to the mobile world.

It's the first time I have ever flashed and I have to say great compiling of the Clean Rom. What I'm really amazed at is the speed and the amount of free memory there is! I've been customising my Diamond lately. I just have 4 questions for you Jenkins:

1) How come their is no animation on the Mail tab? Could you provide me a .cab or something to reactivate it.

2) Also, I installed your Clean Rom which does not have the FM Radio. I installed one from XDA but it does not work, it launches but you can't scan. Along with that, there is no Flash in this one.Could you provide me the .cab files or do I need to flash to the Stock Sprint Rom?

3) Lastly, the kinetic scrolling is way too fast in some apps. How can I edit this?

4) The Audio Booster app is corrupted somehow. It works but you cannot see the sliders or the check box. I can only see the drop-down box and the checkbox area is tan patch. I'll try to get you a screenshot soon.

Is anyone else having issues with texting on 2.00??? In threaded mode if I try to reply to a text; I have to click on the keyboard several times before the letters that type will show up in the box.

Im haveing trouble opening programs and sending text messages.Phone also locks up when trying to open messaging through start menu r TFL3D.Has anyone else had these prob.

The free version of TouchPal will have that popup until you register it. If you paid for the pro version, go to the input page in the control panel and enter your activation code.

1. animation? are you referring to the envelope doing a 360 when scrolling through accounts? If so, there is no reason it should not work. The clean version is very close to the stock rom, with little removed, and the same regedits as my customs.

2. I've never install the FM radio via cab, only cooked in a rom, so I'm not sure what to tell you. search the forum for flashvideobundle or flash3.1. I don't have a cab only OEM for cooking.

3. I'm not sure how to slow it down

4. yes, I see what you mean. same issue on my custom rom. this is a stock app, and being a test rom, it may be corrupt. I can pull the files from the previous rom.

I havent seen either of these issues.

I can confirm that I also am not having any issues with texting or character input. But I can say that I see the issue with Audio Booster.

Remember people, this is based off a leaked test rom. There will be issues. If you want stability, go back to OMJ's previous roms...

I installed the Stock Sprint theme w/ white flip clock rom and noticed that Arkansas is not listed in the weather data base, is this a bug?

I'm loving the new 2.00, but have a question regarding the email notification.

It wasn't until I flashed the new ROM that my high-priority messages began to read the subjects aloud to me upon delivery. I'm not sure if this is something I want or not to be honest, I was just curious as to where I could find the setting to toggle this.

Now that that would be kinda cool! Try startmenu - settings - personal - voice command. I've never used voice command though...
