Greetings All!

Okay, last night I flashed the "fifth" variation of the ROM with custom manilla.

So far no problems. Seems quicker than the last version. I've made most of the changes I normally make to transform the phone into what I prefer and there were no hassles there either. I also changed the radio to the new Sprint one.

I'll report again after a full day or two of activity. I use SensorLock to prevent myself from accidentally using the touch panel before I'm ready. Since the latest ROM now has Sprint's new Slide 2 Answer I have changed my settings to automatically unlock on incoming calls. That seems to work fine so far.

Installed the clean Sprint ROM last night and I cannot set the Ring to Vibrate while having the system sound up. Is this by design or is mine working oddly? I really need to have the ringer set to vibrate at work while listening to music with the system volume up.

I just installed OMJ's 2.00 and found a challenge that I have seen with other ROMs. Maybe someone has an suggestion.

Once I enable the lock option in the control panel. The long-key option to lock the device no longer works.

I use this option all the time. Does any know how to fix it.

Thanks....perhaps he'll get us a VGA version. OMJ, I have been reading about all the issues that the other chefs are having with their new roms, and I am so thankful for your work. You seem to be able to bring a very real level of stability, all the while working in the new and improved stuff. Very nice....

I'm using the 1.09 ROM and I'm really happy with it so I wasn't going to even bother updating to 2.00 but I have been having 1 issue lately. When I'm in Opera and I rotate the screen the phone correctly rotates the browser window but then 3-5 seconds later it automatically loads the phone dialer! Also, if I hold the send key to rotate the screen in other windows it does the same thing. Only in the picture viewer can I rotate the screen without going to the dialer. Any idea why this may be happening?

Is there a cab version of this that can be uninstalled? I'm just worried that if I decide I don't like this clock down the road that I can't undo it. I guess I could always manually back up the files but that's a big pain.

I'm seeing the same thing on my custom rom too. I was not aware of this behavior, I'm guessing it is by design.

I've never used that lock feature, but I do use Device Lock found on the system tab of control panel. I have it set to "lock on wake", long-key still works to manually lock.

thx.....there's no secret...break down the stock rom, remove what ya dont want, add what ya do want.....the key is not to tear it up too much.

You should really try a 2.00 rom, it really is much better/faster/stable. I saw similar issues when going into landscape, but have not seen it go to the dialer screen.
