well I'm not opposed to going back to 1%, I've used it for a long time, and definitely prefer 1%. it can also be manually added back in w/ this cab:

rotate still works using long press send key....and I'm not seeing the issue where the screen closes when rotated.

HTCVolumeControl.dll contains the volume icon

mainly battery life. i've used it most of the day today on youtube, web browsing, text messaging and still have about 60% left and only charged it once through my pc for about 20 minutes. youtube and facebook uploading work great and overall it does seem faster.

I take that back, now when I rotate Opera to landscape, it closes/minimizes to either the phone dialer or TF3D. Just tested again while in text msgs, it did the same thing.

This all started after I installed the above cab for the 1% battery earlier tonight. This is the same battery driver I was using in my previous roms for 1%. After flashing yesterday using the stock 10% battery, I could not get the landscape to fail.

So I think I will be sticking w/ the 10%, plus the 1% battery driver is much older, and I've heard the new battery driver from the leaked rom is showing better performance.

*confirmed* I just uninstalled the 1% cab, no more crashes. Sometimes it's best to leave it stock....especially if it produces better battery life, I'd rather have better battery life than 1%.

I still think the HTCVolumeControl.dll is what's causing the rotation crashes. I've yet to have it do that again since I replaced the HTCVolumeControl.dll. Let me know if you see it happen still on your ROM with the 10% battery and I'll let you know if I see it with the HTCVolumeControl fix. Hopefully at least 1 of them will be a permanent fix! If it's the 10% battery I'll probably flash to your newest ROM. Btw, the backgroundonall pages that I posted a few days ago works perfectly as long as you do that manila fix. You could easily cook this into the ROM as it makes no difference to people that don't want it and it would save me from having to re-install it everytime I flash!

Well, I have to say....after wandering around for a few days, I am back to OMJ's clean rom (icons). I'm still not fond of S2A, but I love the overall look and feel....guess staying as close to stock as possible is the most important thing for me. Thanks again for sharing your work with us.

Great rom OMJ..

Are you planning on making a rom with the plain black manilla theme? Or what would be the easiest way to make one of your roms I have already flashed look like the one in the attachment.

You will not find better / more stable ROMS than OMJ's.

I ama lifelong fan of his ROMS... have tried the world, but can't find better stiff.

Wish he gets a new Touch Pro soon ;)

well I still can't get it to crash w/ the stock 10% battery...but, you are correct also....

no....I have enough roms out there as it is....I'm not big into changing themes, I stick w/ 1....but you can accomplish the change by overwriting the appropriate manila files or using a manila customizer app.

try these files from Calu's kitchen, I believe the pic u posted is from the stock Telus rom. Disable TF3D, then extract these files to Internal Storage, then use Total Cmdr to copy to \windows

OMJ....I noticed the new cab yesterday and installed it on your clean rom w/icons. It stopped Opera from the rotation crash, and I like the new htc icon on the start menu. The only change I would enjoy is the battery color. I would prefer the fill color to be yellow instead of green. Here's the cab that I used.

I've been playing with your Newest... v 2 ROM...
As usual most everything is great... I have seen a difference in the battery life with the new drivers and no more problems in landscape and the dialer coming up... All good.

The one thing I have found is that I cannot remove the Sprint TV tab in Mannila using Advanced Config... Infact sprint tv doesn't even show up as a tab in that area to be checked or not checked...
So, I guess my question is how do I remove sprint tv tab from tf3d?

i used the diamond TF3D config program to remove the sprint tc tab since the icons im using dont include it so it was the odd 1.

I'm actually now using tsowens 5.1.7 and it works perfectly with no rotation crashes. I'm guessing any newer HTCVolumeControl.dll fixes the issue. The only thing I didn't like was the orange EV/1x icon so I replaced it with the .dll for the black one and I'm happy! Also, with your ROM I did not need to reinstall sdkcerts and the neubattery update to make it work at 1% correctly. I couldn't uninstall them anyways because they are cooked into the ROM but it's not neccessary, just install tsowens taskbar cab and everything works perfectly!

Also, forgot to mention that you might want to remove Gyrator from your ROM since there was a bug in the old version that you can't get it to run correctly on startup. The newer version lets you but it's automatic and not in the startup folder so if you put that one in, people would have to use it (which I do now anyways). It was just a mess because when I installed the new one, the old one was still there and I had to go find all the files and remove them so there weren't duplicates since it installs seperatly from the original one.

Is there any reason why my wmwifirouter would not work with this rom? My pc connects but will not give me internet. Its a pretty simple setup I had it working when stock and then with another rom but with the last 2 releases of yours no joy. by the way v2 of your latest rom battery charging is much better and battery life seems better too.

yeah, I think that cab is the same as the dlls file I posted.....I just installed it, pretty nice, not sure about the colored signal strength meter though.

main thing is that it fix's the rotation crash/bug.

so better battery life? if thats the case, i'll stick w/ the stock battery driver & let ppl run the 1% cab, if they want.....but I'd rather have better battery life than 1% battery.

nothing has changed for sprint tv...try using TF3D config, the tab will appear as unknown.

sorry, but not sure what would cause this.....and thx for the feedback on the battery, I'm getting more & more convinced to stay away from 1%.

I agree, battery life is more important...also, a little food for thought....any chance you could leave S2A in cab form in the next rom, so that those of us who are not fond of it, could leave it uninstalled? Thanks.

Ok I think I found the problem with my ICS and WMWIFIRouter. But everytime I try to make adjustments to the registry it will not save the changes. Is there a lock on the registry or something?

When you make reg edits, you will need to wait a couple of minutes before you do a soft reset...that will give them a chance to stay in place.

sorry, but I dont think I'll be leaving out S2A. I would grab the cab to install S2A, and use it as a guide to manually delete it out...

I found about a month ago a cab that enabled wireless G with my diamond... I speed tested it at the time and found with the changes the cab made my wireless about a third faster. I forgot about it once I started flashing roms...
I just put it on your newest rom... 2.00 v2 and yet again it is a speed improvement while using wireless lan.
I've uploaded it... please let me know what you think.

OMJ, I have version 1.09.
I absolutely love it.


The only problem I have with
my phone is that the earpiece
volume is waaaaaayyy too loud.
When I'm on the phone, it's loud
enough to be speaker phone. I
can't seem to adjust the volume
by pressing the volume down side
button to lower the system volume.
I can have the system volume all
the way down, but the phone is too
loud for me to hold it to my ear.

Someone please help. I don't know
if this was like this before I flashed

Hard to say what the problem is...perhaps a bad flash. Doesn't really matter....just flash OMJ's latest. Nothing to be afraid of...it's a good one, just like all the others he's put together.

Try this thread. They are the audio experts...

*UPDATE*TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH HERE!!!

They may have one with lower volume or help you tweak yours to a satisfactory volume...

those of asking for updated roms or asking for assistance need to be hitting the "thanks"..... I dont take donations and could be doing better things w/ my time, so it's the least u can do.

I have a modified AudioPara file in my roms, here is the stock AudioPara....copy to \windows
