Re: Touch PRO Landscape Mode Shortcut Buttons

you have to disable it on the today settings, install the manila landscape, soft reset and re-enable. I'm afraid of releasing a ROM jejejeje. I'm a noob and I'll need all the help I can get to really work with the kitchen to make modifications. I've gotten quite good and tweaking my phone and getting everything in top shapw post-flashing. If I can do all this at the kitchen level and make changes easily (basically learn to work with the kitchen, oem's, etc...) I'll make a release.

Re: Touch PRO Landscape Mode Shortcut Buttons

works great, idk how useful it really is though. I understand why its there on the pro to fill space since they dont wanna do landscape TLFO but seems kinda excessive on the Diamond, asking for false rotates and driving people nuts

Re: Touch PRO Landscape Mode Shortcut Buttons

I find it pretty pretty useful. Put the phone in landscape mode and instantly have access to your entire PIM. If you use the Outlook PIM functions alot like I do it is actually quite useful.

I also noticed that Flip_IT DOES allow you to program exceptions, just turn off all the angles on the main page and then add the specific app you want to rotate with the angles you want it to rotate to in the list. This way I've set it up so that only manila rotates to 90 degrees. I have to lookup the app names for messaging, contacts, etc... so that I can add all the programs that are listed in the manila landscape menu so that they all rotate the same.

I'm really liking the way this works! I WANT TO COOK IT IN!!!! Juggs help!!

Re: Touch PRO Landscape Mode Shortcut Buttons

Installed on Mighty Rom 2.4, Manilla landscape installed fine but will not rotate. Tried Flip_It but couldn't get it to do anything, tried Gyrator but when it rotates it, it still looks like its rotating portrait touchflo. Is it because of the 19xxx version sys in Mightys Rom?

Maybe... Seems like Flip_IT didn't work for Juggalo on older SYS or XIP. not sure which... I'm using 20931 XIP and SYS on the new v5 kitchen and its working absolutely BRILLIANT! Did you check your angle settings within the program?

I just finished programming in my exceptions so that only manila.exe, tmail.exe, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks. Obviously Sprint TV and Opera still have their built in rotation functionality. I'm going to keep playing with this though. I think it would be best to only allow Manila.exe rotate with Flip_IT and then you pick how you want to use your phone and the rest of the apps stay in that orientation until you come back to manila. I'm having fun with this one and just today I've been using the landscape shortcuts A LOT. No need to hunt around for my e-mails, calendar and task lists. Just flip the phone and tap.

Yes, you have to turn off Touch Flo before installing the Landscape manila and yes it takes a long *** time to install.

Re: Touch PRO Landscape Mode Shortcut Buttons

I don't think this would work on Juicys rom as he uses the same SYS as Mighty and no dice for me on Mighty v2.4.
