Not to discredit his work at all because he was the starter of great Diamond ROMs, and people of course are busy outside of this, but you seem to be on here a lot more adjusting your ROM and i like support for a ROM with constant fixes.

juicy and i are using very little of the same stuff. although we probably have very close end results. reg tweaks and such are all the same, for the most part.

I havent found anyone chatting about IE 6. Is it better than opera? I am thinking of trying this rom out but the only new thing I see that would push me would be if IE 6's flash is working good. Thanks.

I agree on this, IE6 flash seems to work better on opera. But that could also be the newer flash.

IE6 is in the early stages at this point, but i think in the end it will be very nice. Give it time, but it is nice for Juggalo to be one of the first to include it in his rom. Great work on that.

I see where you are saying IE6's flash works better on opera. Can you point me in the direction of how to get flash working through Opera? I have read a few posts but they all appear as though it causes opera to crash and I have even tried a few fixes with that exact result.

Telus phone....it's seems you guys have added the radio application the videos on the phone no longer work correctly. Youtube and personal videos that work fine on Juicy's 2.5 no longer work good on all his 3. versions. I was hoping yours would not have this issue but it does. Love your rom but youtube is a biggie for me.....guess i'll have to go back to juicys 2.5 but great rom maybe it's something u can look into and make it perfect in the future.

Videos on memory or youtube will lag. Sound is ok but video is buggy not in sync with sound. I've done a hard reset but still a no go. For some reason on juicy's 2.5 there is no issue. Youtube is bad...video is about 2 3 seconds behind video.

also i cant get opera mini 4.2 to install through java. It did on the older jbed 20080222 3.1, and i notice the one you used it newer, but on it starts to install and then hangs on the version in the ROM.

I wonder if its related to Diamond TV shutting down. Sometimes I get a few seconds of play and then it just shuts down the Windows Media Player.

I am thinking i have a corrupt driver. this would account for all the wierd vid issues we have been having and the audio manager.

another user has tested my sprint 0.04.01B and sprinttv works for him but its a lil choppy

Ok i might have fixed the vid issues.

also added a different SIP its a lil more refined gives more screen realestate... thanks to Juicy :) tweaked opera a lil bit and some other tweaks.... i find this rom much faster then previous releases. stay tuned if it passes the vid tests it will be uploaded.

Just as an FYI - Skype also doesn't play nice with Gyrator. So, if its not too much trouble, you may want to add it to the list.

Jug, don't be mad for double posting but I never got an answer. Is there a cab for the card reader or does it have to be cooked into the rom? Thanks for the constant updates I really appreciate the support!

Juggalo - I just flashed Telus 04.02B on my Sprint phone and I still have that issue where the text does not show up in my Sounds and Ringers menus - at least not until I actually select an option, but then it's gone again when I go out and back in -- any ideas at all? I tried a hard reset and ended up stuck on the tri-color "security unlocked" screen. Fortunately, I was able to get out of that with a soft reset.

Also, Diamond TV still not working - shutting down after a few seconds - again, not a complaint, I hardly ever used it anyway, but just in case it matters for analyzing a bigger issue.

Thanks for your hardwork.

I flashed Juicy 3.4 and had no issue with the Sound and Ringers text coming up. Flashed back to Telus 04.02B and checked before I did anything else and my text is still gone. Sometimes I'll see it for about half a second on the Sound menu before it disappears again. I would think it couldn't be an app or setting of mine if I'm checking it right after a flash and still have the problem, right?

to clarify your going to Settings > sounds and notifications

thats where your issue is right?

Nope, sorry should have been more clear, its on the scrolling tab settings:

Settings (on the scrolling tab) --> Sound (no text for the options here) --> Rings/Currently Set to: --> Ringtones (no text here either)

Does that make sense? If you could let me know how to do a screen shot, I'd gladly post it, but I just end up with a bunch of radio buttons w/o text.

Hey jugz, just a heads up. You reported that the sms notifications issue was fixed in your changelog. I've been dealing with the issue on my rom all night, couldn't figure out the solution so flashed to your rom. You have the same issue as well.

Send yourself a 2 part text message. You will have to open the message twice for it to mark both messages as read.

Ugg, it's driving me INSANE!

I don't seem to have the text issue on my ROM i am using the same xip and build as you I believe. When i get a multi text message I receive lets say 2 messages due to the length of the text and then when i go to the messages tab on TF3D i look at both texts for about 3 secs and it saves them as read.

same here

and if i go into the threaded convo, and click down it will clear both messages.

however i have an idea, see if we can get it to clear them with out having to click down in the threaded convo... it might be the way the new tmail is designed.

I have reported the bug to the developer i have faith he will fix it soon. he is usually very quick to address issues with his mods :)
