This is the "5%" batter driver, it reads incorrectly for the top half of the battery. This can't be fixed unless he reverts to the stock 10% driver.

this is true, im trying to find something more appealing but in 10%. this will solve the false readings, and have more appeal to the eye.

Think there's some issues with Windows Media Player - it won't recognize the internal storage. It shows it as an option, but when I select it, it goes back to the Library option, which only shows media on the device. Also, when I try to play Diamond TV using Windows Media Player, it shuts down immediately or goes to a Windows Media option screen for selecting skins. In other ROMs, WMP has recognized internal storage and Diamond TV has worked, but it's been laggy.

Should I try reinstalling WMP? Thanks.

WMP just wants you to set it up the first time after that close it and re open it. you will get the default screen then, click menu, update library ;)

next release will have streaming media in the telus rom as well. Also will have IE 6 Mobile

also have added WMP, FM Radio, and contacts to the Gyrator exclusion list.

Il still looking into the SMS notification bug. WMP seems to be functioning fine. choose your options on first boot then click menu > update library.

I may go back to the stock battery icon.... also i don't seem to be having issues with ear speaker volume like there was a single report of. can any one els put in some incite.

ok i reverted back to the old battery icon. Updated IE, i think i have fixed the sms notification issue. Fixed some annoy things with gyrator (Fm Radio WMP and Contacts rocation disabled). verified WMP is in fact working fine. As well as speaker volume. added htc streaming meda to the telus rom (im thinking this should fix the Diamond TV issue)


Uploading roms now. will change the change log and update the title when its done.

Hehehehe, all of C4RBON is making releases, Ghetto and Tobey working the Kitchen and Juggs and Juicy working the ROMs.

I noticed that the new kitchen has some custom text when first booting up, tha cr3w is putt1ng 1n 477 da t4gz. yeiii yeeeiiaaaa!!!!

I've become addicted to cooking my own stuff haven't even used a Juicy rom since 2.6. I think I might take a swing at release my own build from the GF/TC Kitchen if I customize it a little more. :)

I'm finding myself with less and less time to play with the phone thanks to my job and g/f but I'm starting to get more involved at the kitchen level now that I've been using the GF/TC Kitchen a lot more. I'm working on passing my own reg edits to RGU files and adding them to the kitchen and stuff. Maybe if I ever get it to a point were its something unique that cannot just be cooked with the standard kitchen I'll make a release, who knows. :) This is fun as hell!

Downloaded latest Sprint version, since I'm on Sprint and may want Sprint TV someday -

Diamond TV still shutting down. Not that I really care, because it's always been too laggy to use much - but just as an FYI - in case its a sign of a bigger issue.

Also, HTC music player can't open - it gives me AudioManager_eng.exe error - says it can't open the file.

Whats the whole bit with the XIP? Should the SYS match the XIP to make sure everything is as stable as possible?

It says it "cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring the file."

ok, thats odd the telus rom is fine

all i changed on the sprint rom is older Dshow and streaming media so sprint tv works.

i will try to use calcu's package to fix sprint tv then. see if this solves the music tab issue for you sprint guys.

I switched back to Telus ROM and like you said, music tab works fine. But I also get the gyrator orientation sticking with Audible.com player. I couldn't figure out how to disable it in audible in gyrator because it didn't come up in the program list, but no biggie, I can always just try to make sure I close in upright portrait.

Figured I'd give it a try between Juicy 3.2 and Juicy 3.3. So far pretty impressed. May not be flashing to Juicy.

Here is what I have experienced so far!

1) Why does the date and time setup appear at first configuration?
2) Off/On gray text in comm manager manila tab is a little dark.
3) First time I launched camera I got a blank screen. Relaunch works.
4) Phone seems much warmer then when using Juicy 3.3
5) Automatic full screen in Opera not enabled by default
6) Something screwy in file explorer when clicking down arrow. Folder name flickers and nothing happens.
7) I get a white square in upper left corner of the background when using manilla customizer. Probably due to something with the manila by default.
8) Can you turn off event sounds by default. It's annoying! :)
9) Is there a way to turn off the auto keyboard popup?

Hi Juggalo - I'm using Telus 0.04 on Sprint phone. I think I found another bug - when I go to Sound Settings, there's no text to identify the options. Same with Ring Type and Ring Tones - totally blank - and that's really tough since there's no icons. :-)

EDIT: I just noticed that the text comes up on an option once I actually select it. But then all the text is gone again after I exit out and go back in. Need to select things to know what they are.

I have a question about the "startup" and "shut down" sounds included in your ROM, I am trying to disable them, but it seems that there are two instances of them happening. I found the first which is in the reg setting for HTC animation, and I have removed the .wav files for startup and shutdown there - however it still plays a sound at startup and shut down. I am guessing that the sounds are for the radio being turned on and off. Is there any way someone can point me to that reg entry? I have searched through the reg files and havent been able to find it.

1) because its set to allow you to choose the time zone. I never saw it as a big dea lol
2) On/Off text is black by default. thats just the way it is when you add the comm manager tab to the manila mode9. i could look into this later but its not a priority for me. as the green slider is pretty self explanatory if the text is obstructed by a black background.
3) ive never had this issue. i even just did a hard reset to try. its fine.
4) i haven't noticed any heat issues. also if your next question is do you use the same battery and power tweaks as juicy, the answer is yes. so this might just be a placebo effect from switching.
5) this i will look into, but it seems to be loading pages in full screen for me. some of them are just to large to fit with out horizontal scrolling. making them load to fit with out scrolling and the page would be completely useless because the text would be less legible then it already is.
6) i have never seen this error through out all my builds. i just tried again. before and after i hard reset. i cannot recreate this issue.
7) yes manila customizer will break the background. it will also cause your baner to say T-Mobile and tJanuary 1st 2008 in most cases. i dont use it. this is why ive made my cuztom manila. it embeds everything i use, but allws you to use your own icons and background images. also what event sounds are you refering to?

that's really odd. i just checked and all my drop down menu's have the correct text in them. and identify them selves correctly. can other users check as well?
