I was having the same problem. It' takes a LONG time to get past the first couple of screens. Be patient and it will eventually go. I had reflashed and was then giving up. I went to get a cup of coffee and came back and it had gone to the next screen....

well I am stuck on boot up screen - pulled battery and now cannot hard reset it. Ok I will wait and see what happens. Yup took around 3 minutes, got the "Preparing your device for first use now". Should be good now

thanks, i tend to be impatient... guess i'll let it sit...

strange, it's been sitting for a few mins... what's even stranger is that if i hit the power button while it's in this state, it vibrates like when you turn the phone on from being off

It works it just takes a LONG time to initialize. Just let it sit for a a good 5 minutes and it'll boot up
