The Customizer got hung on SDAutoRun.exe

not sure, I will look into this, I am working right now on adding a entire new large set of custom cities. So i will get that complete tonight. and then look at the issue hanging that up.

This is how the new weather will look, I split it up into indivdual states. I added all the cities that were in my vogue roms. and so everything should be there. But here is a little preview, I will try and upload later on today. I need to get some sleep. working on the weather for the past 8 hours. So i am calling it good for now.

I don't mind just finding my city in the big list but thats really slick. I bet other chefs will end up using it.

This GPS issue has gone from annoying to bizarre...!

Last night I went completely back to stock. Stock radio, stock Alltel rom. Loaded the HTC GPS Tool and it was able to find one (and only) one sat. It wouldn't lock on and would only find this one. Hot-Warm-Cold start, just the one. I did everything short of relocking the phone.

Went ahead and downloaded the Alltel Nav and tried to activate it with the 30 day freebie. Naturally that wouldn't completely work and it wanted to charge me the $9.99, so I exited out of that. QPST aGPS settings and reg edits were in place. Gave up and went to bed.

This morning, I try the GPS Tool and it locks!!! 2, 3, 4 times in a row it will now lock quickly, tried Google maps and it locks right on with 7-10 birds!! WOOT.

So I load the newest Conflip ROM and load the GPS Tool. Nothing, won't run, won't pull sats, try google maps and nothing. Checked, location is "On" and all the hardware settings are correct.

Okay, so let's run the QPST. ##3424 and plug in. Nothing, no diag port is showing... Nothing. I go ahead and launch QPST and since no diag port has been mapped it won't see anything.... and I cannot get to the programming part of the QPST.

I unplug phone, reset and remove Winmodem driver, reboot and reinstall. Still nothing!

I'm still trying to get this phone in to diag mode and run QPST and it will not see the port, therefore I cannot get in to QPST to check the aGPS IP settings.

Hard reset and let the customizations run and try again, nothing.

All I want for Xmas is for my GPS to lock on and work like it should. Voice and data are both working fine, but no diag via ##3424 and no GPS at all.

Conflip, went back to Alltel stock ROM and it recognized the port when I ran the update utility. Flashed to the new ROM and it won't see the diag port and HTC GPS tool will not run...

Active sync works fine, but it won't let me in to diag using ##3424... Doesn't matter if I'm already plugged in and run it or run it then plug in to the USB cable.

Went back and loaded the 11/28/08 ROM and the diag port is found and QPST works like it should.

okay let me know, that is just weird that you are having so many issue with it, and with everythign. now sure what is going on.

i am sure they will start to use this has well. it is very slick, i am loving it. makes everything so much nicer. are you having any other issue with the rom other then it hung up on sdautorun?

I had it do this to me one time, my problem when i had it happen, is i had a cab in the wrong format, and so it got an error reading it. but otherwise it ran fine.

Like I stated the 11/28/08 ROM will find the diag port and now QPST will work. As you probably know, QPST will not program "Online" if the diag port is not active on the phone.

As it stands now, the phone has found one (1) orbital satellite. Doesn't look like the aGPS server is returning any triangulation results yet.

Did the same thing last night, my guess is it will lock in a little while. Makes me wonder if the aGPS server that we're polling takes a while to update new IP's or ESN's that are requesting info from the server?

All the sudden my Phonepad in EzInput will only type numbers... no letters, even when ABC mode.
