I am also having gps issues with this rom. Other than that....This rom rocks! Great work. Thanks alot for building this for us! You need a donate button!

HUH gps works fine for me, but who knows. I am always between different builds and everything else it is hard to tell. I will look into this tomw. I have the page pool changer working on the TPro. and I should be able to get it working on the diamond. I just didnt feel like flashing diamond tonight.

Donation button. No, I have always said that if you feel like donating, then donate to this website or cmonex or someone. I do this for fun, and it is just a hobby for me. and it is this site, that host this site. and everything else. without the site, none of this would exsist. and so I just dont feel it is right to accept donations. If anything donate to the site. and help keep that going.

I will look into this stuff tomw though. for tonight, i am heading off to bed.

The only time I've been able to get the Diamond to lock on the sats is when I was running the stock ROM.

Any other users of this ROM having GPS issues? I noticed the guy a few posts back having troubles...?

My GPS is working great in live search, but live search is only QVGA at this time. So that will not work. Google Maps does not like gps on this phone. not sure why.

Update will be delayed until tomw. Ran into some problems with opera. It does not want to work right. So not sure, been playing with that for past 4 hours though. And finally enough is enough.

I did get pagepool working on the diamond and Touch Pro. So now I will include in the file page pool changer. and you can try higher pagepools has you see fit. No more having to hex edit everything. Now it just works. Has far has I am aware, I am the only one on ppcgeeks to get this working. I gave the file to Juggalo on the Touch pro. so he will have it working on there. but any way you look at it, it is very good.

And like I said file size is now compress to be even smaller, so that is great news has well. But the bad news is that this will be delay until i am hoping first thing tomw morning. if not it first thing in morning, then it will be later tomw. So everyone can look forward to that.

I have the Garmin Mobile XT software with 2009 maps working great on this ROM. It picks up sats in about 6 or 7 seconds.

Okay thanks for letting me know. I think it is google maps that is not working with the agps settings. So i am not sure i guess.

Just fired up Google Maps, and have 10 sats locked in, soooo...lol, doesn't seem to be a problem for me at the moment.

I had the diamond for a few weeks and never had problems with google maps gps. I would always get a lock within a few seconds. All while using conflippers most up to date roms and the stock radio.

I have done everything possible, imaginable and EVERYTHING short of hard reset and going back to stock and no GPS.

It's driving me nuts... I really like this phone, but I want my GPS back!!! Some of you know I tried the Pro and did not care for the phone itself and went to the Diamond.

This phone is perfect, but my f$%*k!n GPS won't lock on at all.

Yes, it's enabled, Yes, I've done the reg cab, yes I programmed with QPST, yes I've done advanced config, yes, Yes, YeS, YES!!! AAAAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhh!

Okay, I feel a little better now. Well, not really but you know how that goes.

I'll probably go ahead and flash the new Rom when you get it up, Conflip and just start over with trying to get it to work.

I also have a 30 day Alltel Nav freebie that I can try. What I may do if the GPS won't work is go back to stock and if it doesn't work there trade the phone out on warranty.

Time will tell.
