let me look into this has well, I will try and OEM the file and include it, then try and grab the database and include that has well, if i have to i will go back to stock rom so i can get the right files that i need. I will work on this though.

The only issues I've seen so far with the ROM is the CityID thing and there appears to be some strange lag when a call comes in, the screen gets less responsive and button presses (on screen) register a half second or so after they're made but only when there is a call coming in, it's odd.

Otherwise rock solid.

(If I want to get rid of gyrator... how can I uninstall/disable-- I didn't find it in the Startup folder)

haha new feature now is in the registry for startup items called bootlauncher, so start menu is no longer needed.

HKCU/Software/HTC/Bootlaucher/Apps/Gyrator2

and just delete this.

If gyrator is cauing troulbes i can remove it in future builds, everyone give input on if it should stay or be gone.

Also your phone calls lagging could because of gyrator, try to deleate that and see if it helps.

Removing it seems to have fixed the issue. If I just had my CityID back I'd be a happy camper.

Con, what do you use for locking? I'm trying PocketShield and really like it but it's acting goofy now... not sure why, everyone seems to love S2U but I tried an early build way back and didn't like it much.

I just use the standard lock, I dont worry about to much. Actually I am very simple and easy to please

The rom you are using is really the main one i use, I use resco explorer and resco registy. but other then that i do not install anything extra.

Also it doesnt help when i am not on a single rom more then 1 or 2 days. And 3 days if i am lucky or feeling lazy. haha

Yea Gyrator2 does make the phone go crazy I personally close it every time I reboot the phone and will be removing it from the registry.

It's great that the phone has the hardware and that for those who care the software is out there but I really just don't have much (read: any) need to rotate the screen unless i'm viewing pictures or Opera...

Hey Con... doing some research it looks like CityID is a pay service (after a trial) so don't bother... it was nice but its not something I'm going to pay monthly for.
