Got a brand new opera build 15086. seems to be very good. One thing I will do is turn off flash support inside there. that way web pages load up faster, and if you want to watch youtube, you can watch them inside youtube player.

New Quick GPS
New Opera
New Audio Manager
New mHub Drivers
New DShow, Latest ones

Still looking, more to come.

Con when are you going to release the new ROM build?

I'm to the point where I think the GPS on my phone is a physical (chip) problem. If I'm going to flash and redo everything, might as well go back to stock ROM first and see if the GPS will work there. I have the 30 Alltel Navigator to test out.

If it will not work I am going to warranty this phone as I need that GPS working.

Cool, I look forward to it.

Is the stock Alltel ROM posted somewhere or do you have it? Might as well give it a shot to see if the GPS will work. If it won't I'm going to relock this Diamond and take it back.

He's got a Pro ROM that he built out now too.

Question for you Con... in an effort to max out my battery life I'm thinking that radio upgrades may be a part in the short life span i've had lately.... what radio are you using, what are you hearing about the options out there?

I went with the Telus radio last night in my never ending quest to get the GPS on my phone working.

Most have reported better signal quality and increased battery life.

It's been less than 12 hours on the new radio for me. Signal does seem better, battery life decision will come later.

Right now I am using 1.04 radio. I have found that it does help me get better reception, well that is a toss up to. I am on the boarder line of EVDO. with the older radios. I would get EVDO sometime, not always. With the 1.04 radio. I am almost always in evdo. but since I am in evdo area, I tend to drop calls because it will try and jump and then drop the call.

I have heard some ppl say that the 1.04 radio caused worse battery life, that was on the pro though. I do not notice anything with the barrery life, but I am also not a good judge, since I am always close to a computer and have them plug in. So I am not sure.

I do think I get better reception with the 1.04 radio though.

12:30 pm. Adding in Custom Cities to database. and then I will upload. I have a gps lock. And I am sending and recieving MMS. I gotta leave for a while at 1. So it might not be until later this afternoon.
