if it happens again that's what I will do! ideally I can wait for the new telus radio but I know it caused the unfortunate bricking

Anyone test the TP Rom on their Diamond yet?

After Juggalo's incident, is it still worth flashing the radio roms? I've kinda been in the wings waiting for some sort of stable, reliable, nothing but praise period before I dive in.

My Diamond, for no reason I can explain, has been getting A LOT better battery life since the first week or two that I had it, so I'm not as desparate as before. The only issue I seem to have is, if I use BT, no matter how little, seems to set a drain on the device. If I use no BT, I can go all day and still have 70% by the end of the work day (instead of 20%). Pretty much can make it the whole day. (as long as I don't use BT)

My thought was, Verizon might give me enough battery preservation to allow for BT use. My other idea was to restart the device after using BT, cause something "stays on" it seems.

my incident was isolated because i was flashing a dumped radio. its still in the testing and not released publically.

Re: [UPDATED] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Rom Thread

would be interesting if you could get the dump radio working. I will be getting the alltel touch pro when it comes out in middle of november. I will be sure to dump the rom and try the radio the first few days i have it.

The shipped Verizon radio is rock solid on my Sprint Diamond. I 100% recommend it.

Re: [UPDATED] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Rom Thread

Just thought I'd chime in too. Verizon radio on my Sprint Diamond has been great. No weird vibrating...no problems at all. Battery and heat issues are much improved.
This post has been thanked 1 times.
