Re: [NOV 26th New Sprint/Alltel Radio V1.03.15F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread
I've been using 1.03.15F for about a week now . I would say I average a bar better than the VZW radio. Never had any problems with the VZW radio but since I'm on Sprint, I figured I would use a Sprint Rom again. No problems so far. No heat or battery differences either, but than again I'm running on a Juicy Rom.

You should just check around the forum. All rom chef's cook a different rom. Some features and programs that you find in one, won't be in another. Best way is to just dive on in and become a flashing junkie, find out which one works best for you. As far as losing anything you really don't. It just makes the phone better with a few bugs along the way.

Just put the 1.03.15F Sprint radio on yesterday. Wow! Big difference in heat production. Streamed Sirius radio for about a half an hour and, not only did it barely get warm, but it didn't really suck down the battery all that much, either. Voice quality is excellent, and I seem to be getting a good signal most everywhere. I think some of the lingering issues with this phone are nearly resolved, for me. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who had a hand in getting their hands on this radio for all of us!!

you think someone could sticky this? it seems fairly important as far as hardware upgrades go.. Plus its a hassle having to find it buried 10 pages deep..

Wow ... sweet! The new radio actually gave me 100% signal in my basement where I was only getting 40% with the earlier radio.
It also did not do a hard reset upon the installation. This should really help out his device.

sounds like a plan. I dont have the data evidence to prove it. But recently (last couple days) my phone has been really choppy with data speeds using the new radio. It will download fast in the beginning then just 4kb at a time for several seconds... Just flashed back to the stock radio and it doesnt seem to be doing this with data coming through quick and smooth. Not sure if the flashing fixed an error but I am back on the original stock diamond radio for now.
