ok have had the 1.03.15F on my phone for the last two hours. So far so good, getting email, web good, calls good. No apparent heat problems. The biggest characteristic difference from the 1.03.03V is that the bars of signal is reduced with the F. This may not mean that the signal is weaker although when I used the first 1.00.004F it had this same weak signal indication and I was getting calls bypassing my diamond and going into voicemail..

So far I have received two calls without them going into voicemail so I think this radio is better for me than the 1.00.04F. I will see how the battery goes with it as compared to the 1.03.03V, which I stuck with for awhile.

I don't know for sure yet but I have been using it for a couple of hours too and I can't remember how 1.00.004F as I only used it for about a couple days. I know 1.03.03V was better then 1.00.004F as that's what I have been using for a while now. Will seebut I do have a feeling that 1.03.03V had better signal strenght.

Juggalo? Would it be possible to repackage the 1.03.03 verizon radio so it doesn't hard reset the device as well? I wanted to do some comparisons with dB but I don't want to hard reset. lol. If you don't have time, it's cool. I don't even know the process involved.

Flashed it to my diamond as soon as it was posted. Made an hour tech support call to dell to get an rma setup on a server. Phone didnt even get warm WOOHOO!

Didnt seem to provide any better signals tho.

Scared the crap out of me as soon as I flashed I couldnt call anyone call would show in progress but no sound. It appears cricket was overloaded because the attacks in india I presume. After 20 times of calling dell finaly went through. Called other cricket users and they were having the same problem.

Bottom line it does seem to take care of the heat issues. Data sessions work as well. Also no need to reprogram your pst settings and no need to hard reset.

For those having issues finding the infamous "unlock code" specific for your phone - Follow these instructions:

1) Dial ##778#
2) Click "VIEW"
3) Under the "ITEM" Column - look for the ESN(HEX) - Write down that number.
4a) Use the HEX to DEC converter (LOCATED HERE ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Diamond/Users/Tob...0Converter.exe
4b) type in the HEX ESN you copied earlier into the first text box in the converter program
4c) then, click the "GO" button. The program will then convert the HEX ESN into DEC.
***MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING CAPITOL LETTERS WHEN IMPUTTING YOUR HEX ESN!***

I follow these instruction and I still can't get into the edit screen. I notice my "View" contains the dec value for the ESN (which defeated the point of that tool). Anyone know how to get into edition section or how to find the unlock code? I'm on Sprint if that matters.

Thanks.
