Flashed VZW Radio today.. went super smooth and fast. No PROBLEMS detected, which is good.. will report back on performance.

Thanks again everyone! He's looking forward to the Touch Pro radio if it's compatible.

Wait, are you talking about the Radio posted in this thread, or the Rom posted here:

I know the Verizon radio works on a Sprint Diamond , but I dont think the rom will. I could be wrong though........ anyone know for sure?

this rom wont work on sprint unless its ported. as its a different hardware profile.

VZW is crippled.

HA! I was actually kidding but there is one there for being embarras*ed!!!!!

Nice! Ok, back on topic. My experience with the VZW radio is:

1. Amp draw while on the phone and transferring data is much lower. Dont have comparison numbers, but its about the same as what others have posted.
2. The phone, as others have said, doesnt get nearly as hot.
3. My download speeds are about the same.
4. When data connection is idol, still get the same amp draw as with sprint radio, between 57-75ma.

All in all with this radio, and Juicy's 2.6 rom, Im having the best battery performance since owning my diamond. If we could just get a 2200mah battery the same size as the stock one, Diamond life would be perfect. Well except for the lack of programmable buttons, and a flash, and a SD slot, and flawless landscape support, and blah, blah blah. J/K. I LOVE THIS PHONE!! \\:D/ :king: :notworthy: :geek: :-({|= :smurf:
(love the extra emoticons too!!!)
