Anyways, someone mentioned earlier that another reason my suggestion (about having a cab with all the registery edits so we can use sbp backup to restore after flashing) wouldnt work is becasue the windows files would get overwriten, but then again, in spb backup you are allowed to chooose not to restore the windows folder.

What do you guys think

Juicy, did you see this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=440861

over at xda they managed to port over Touch HD's Manilla with stock tab... its supposedly really fast without tweaks! And can only be made into custom roms..

u think this could be a nice addition for your future releases?

Only way to know is to try! It won't hurt the phone...just do a hard reset! I did a restore minus the windows folder and everything seems to be working fine...even the programs I had under the previous rom.

The "customize tabs" setting is nice. I wasn't aware that it was included on the HD. I understand it's something we can already do, but it's nice that it is in the stock rom.

It's a shame we won't see those devices on this side of the ocean.

Wat registry changes? I didn't install the windows folder so when I restored all it restored was the apps I had previously installed with the registry values.

First with 2.6 and now with 2.7 when I try to flash from my PC it I get an "Upgrade ROM error code" and get stuck in the bootloader.

Many times, registry changes are what fix problems. Juicy would be the one to answer this. Hey juicy, did you make any registry changes in these recent roms?
