Hello guys, i'm a fan of reading your excellent website and i have been reading it since i got my diamond (6 or 7 months ago). Actually, i upgraded my diamond with the Mighty Rom 4 Bulid 21051.1.6.4, is it the last one? the most up to date? I wonder it too because i installed the new Opera (uninstalling the previous version) and i can not open any website, it just shows a blank screen. Would somebody help me, please?

Thank you so much!

I never installed a different version if opera cause the one on this rom works great. if it aint broke dont fix it. All I can think is you are trying to install the wrong version for your phone.

Not necessary to install another Opera unless it's Opera Mini or 9.7 beta. All the other 9.5 variants don't offer any upsides.

I am not sure this is the right place to post this. My device ID (ISN) displayed on the device information screen is A0000 and is not the same as the device ID printed on the back of the phone. Any idea how to correct this problem, thanks.

I went into settings-> phone-> network services and I am seeing the following:

Phone: Preferred Servicing System

Home Only
Automatic-A
Automatic-B
Standard
Roam Only

What are these settings for and what should my phone be set to?

Thanks in advance!

Play around with them and see what happens. It's a way to force your coverage int 1X or EVDO only.

On another note, anyone from this old thread grabbed a tp2 yet? I'm going to look at one right now!

You'll want it in standard most of the time, unless you do not want to ever roam. It will automatically switch from Home service to Roaming as needed in that setting. Home Only will not roam and Roam Only will only roam, oddly enough :). I am not sure if Auto-A or B do anything or not.

The Mode of Operation controls EVDO, 1X, or Hybrid modes. You an enable it by changing HKLM-Software-OEM-PhoneSetting-HiddentModeOperationPage from 1 to 0. Then it will show up under settings-personal-phone-services.

Hey guys....not sure this thread is monitored much any more, but just in case, I have a Windows Live Messenger Mobile question--is there a way to enable or retrieve the message history for the mobile version of Messenger as there is with the desktop version? Thanks!! :-)
