PPCGeeks - [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

Anybody's GPS really slow.. like takes 5 minutes to lock onto a single satellite and when it finally does it show mys position as being somewhere in Kyrgystan nowhere near my real location?

It's weird because it worked once flawlessly when i was coming back home from work 2 days ago... it found 10 satellites within seconds and tracked me accurately all the way home... and since then I haven't been able to replicate that performance and functionality

Went through the QPST procedure and changed all the onegps settings to the Telus ones as per this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36639 (Maybe I didn't have to do this because I'm not using the data connection to assist the gps)

Also played with the SUPL AGPS registry settings... I think I ended up using value 1 for GPS mode.

Now I get a lock within seconds even when inside my house and away from any windows.

Running Garmin XT loaded up with full 2010.1 Ontario maps.. i'm amazed at how little space they're taking up on the internal card
