Re: [ROM] [MAY.04.09] MightyROM 4/R3BORN

well I used the wm5_RingDelay_Patch_Normal and converted the mp3's to .wav files... I have added my cpu and headset via bluetooth and yes active synced and all is good.... no more ringtone problems....

hope this helps....

No ringer issues, I do use bluetooth headphones, but not a regular earpiece. I probably mentioned this probably a hundred pages back but all my ringtones are simply dropped into the windows folder, and not in a "My Ringtones" folder.

Yes I did.

It has been at least a week. It normally took only a day or two to manifest

I guess that would mean that when you flashed back to stock something was leftover from the MR flash, and that something is our culprit?

I agree, but that doesn't mean the leftover couldn't have been related to BT....btw, as useful as BT can be, why does it have to suck so much?

I don't currently use BT w/AS now but I HAVE tried it with MR4.7, and I have several BT headset profiles active. ...and I have the ringer problem frequently. And, are you using TouchLockPro? (I still suspect it.)

I have never used TouchLockPro, and frankly, am a little frightened by the title.

Hey guys. I know this is off topic but I trust my friends here in the Mighty thread the most so this is why I post here. I just picked up a HTC 6700 for $40. The phone is in real nice shape with less than 3 hours talk time on it!! So anyway, have any of you had the 6700 and if so what rom were you using. I'm looking to upgrade this thing from WM 5 to 6 or 6.1.

Thanks

Ok, now my heads starting to :violent2:! I'm going to re-read through the last bit and see if I can make sense of it. Please, anyone else jump in with observations!

TREmp77 (or others with no problem), so if you could just do something to cause the problem, then we'd know what the heck is going on!:evil4:

pask2155, I think you did a couple things there so we don't know which one may be responsible for a fix. What's the ring_delay_patch for? Does anyone think this might be a fix? If so, I or someone else, could give it a shot.

MrO, Just trying to make a contribution instead of sucking info off all day like I usually do. (Where is that thank you button?) :)

What would be really nice is if we could figure out HOW to make it happen, if we could, that would really point the smart guys (you know who you are) to a proper fix. And, we wouldn't have to wait around for a week or more so if we did any good. I think the intermittency of this thing is what's making it so hard to solve.

So i did a search and didn't find any mention of it, but is there a reason why the text messaging is limited to only 130 characters instead of 160? Just thought it was kinda weird seeing the 30 character drop, kinda made me sad too :( haha

That's an Telus thing. Just look in the files for this thread. You will find a cab to change it back to 160

Edit : here I did it for you.
