Mike - so sorry to hear man... Same thing happened to me a while ago but my time off was the best thing that could have happened to me to be honest. Hang in there and you'll be back in no time.

I haven't posted much on this board lately but I swear I've read EVERY SINGLE post in this thread over the last few months :) I've been keeping up with your ROMS obsessively even though I haven't been posting much, they're definitely worthy.

Good luck to you!

I tried the ChronicRom it works pretty good but doesn't have TF3D so i couldn't get used to using just the WM6.5 interface, also because i couldn't remove all the chronic images and my parents and co workers often use my phone i ended up removing it. besides those things though it felt really stable and well done.

still figure i really like MR4.8 and a guy like mike will end up landing on his feet so I'll just wait around like a good boy enjoying what i have

The diamond is very resilient. you wont brick your phone by trying different things out so go hog wild and enjoy it. as for the nuepower it is great. I never used the other

I can't get the % to show in the task bar.

Thanks to all you good people, I finally got 4.8 flashed last night found the sprint TV cab in music and everything works except WMP. I start listening to a song and my diamond does a soft reset after about a minute of playing. My music plays in the Music tab just fine though. Only porblem that I noticed is that the scroll takes forever to move to the bottom of the play list. Oh, and how do you turn it off?
Rings absolutely must be in WAV format the MP3s I had on my vogue wouldn't work. and The wma that was already in my rings folder doesn't work either. Is there some way to show the file formats in file explorer?
Gosh, this home page sure needs some color.

I can see I'm going to need a back up program--soon. Does Resco backup work on this thing? How bout resco file manager--Thats a today plugin isn't it?

Anybody care to take a shot at the questions I had? PLEASE? Particularly the WMP causing my phone to reset.

My wireless router has DHCP turned off, so I have my own IP address entered into my Diamond. However, this prevents EVDO from working....

Changing it back to "Use server-assigned IP address" fixes it, but then I can't use WIFI at my house until I change it back to "Use specific IP address"

There also seems to be a number of Network Adapters missing from the list in comparison to the Stock ROM.

Why would you turn DHCP off..? if computers need a static IP then use DHCP reservation in the router and tell it to use the same ip all the time. if your router doesn't have this ability then buy a new one, the're cheap enough these days, or if it can run DD-WRT then flash that to your current router.

I like having manual IP. At any rate it should still work with that type of configuration, it has for every other device i've used.

Of course there is always something new that doesn't so you might have to change. Reserved dhcp takes the place of manual assignments. If your network is small enough then reconfigure, it's really easy. i use it all the time for remote access etc.

Well, i've been using it like this for years, and I have a lot of devices set up with this configuration (laptops, video game consoles, etc) and I definitely don't want to have to change just for this ROM. It should work :(

Thank you though.

I can definitely understand your problem and your reasons are sound. Seems like a genuine issue imo. I'm sure you've already tried this, but I'm going to say it anyway - soft reset and maybe even hard reset?
