However, I'm back to the ROM I've using for the last several weeks (OMJs ROM). The big reason: I had quite a few lock-ups (navigating TF3D, during a phone call, switching betweens apps) where I've had to do 4 hard resets today. The final reset was made after the device wouldn't get past the "Diamond" boot-up screen. (I though I bricked my Sprint Diamond for a second there...)

I loaded this ROM directliy from the OMJ 2.0 ROM, and perhaps this was my problem. As for apps I've loaded: Intellisync, Pocket Sand, and QuickVerse.

I like some of the default apps loaded into OMJs ROMs, but I can load those into the 4.8 ROM and love the speed and feel of the 4.8 ROM. Hopefully following the stockROM > Hard Reset > 4.8ROM precedure will cure my ills...

yes, flashing the shipped rom first, then mighty 4.8, clear storage one last time will fix the issues you are having.

I've been looking through this thread of almost 700 pages, the suggestion is to use a "WAV" file for the ringer, my question is how?

If I put a WAV file in "My Document\My Ringers" and then try to select it, I don't see it listed.

I'm sure its something simple but without some initial guidance I'm not sure what to do, and the sonic screwdriver didn't help :(

Thanks

something needs to be done about the charging.

im sitting here looking at my phone like WTF. its been on the charger for literally an hour and half still charging when i put it on at 90% something aint right about the recharging

it takes half the day for it to recharge from a dead battery. i remember my vogue took less than 40 min to recharge from a dead batt.

and this is from charging off the outlet.

by the way, I never had the ringer issue, but my phone is always on vibrate, so am I a good test subject?:silent:

I won't even bother to ask why you keep your phone on vibrate. ;-)

Make sure that the ringtones are not in a folder.

A bug free rom is better lets wait patiently for the 5.0, its annoying to always flash, i know its addicting but its time consuming in every way, after all its just a phone that does everything!

Put any sound files that you want recognized as possible ringtones in your \Windows folder. If they don't get recognized immediately, you can try to tap/hold and select "use as ringtone" in the OEM File Explorer. [It might say something like "set as ringtone"- you get the idea.]

Guys, I tried a couple of other roms but keep coming back to Mighty's. This time when I re-installed it...my utube app will start but I get an error "unable to play this video" when I try to play any utube video. I thought I saw some type of a fix by deleting something, but I can't find it.

Can ya help a Mighty brother out with a fix?
