I just want to note that with my mp3 ringers I have gone over two days without the ringer issue before it came back, so a longer time would be needed to be sure that having the ringers in .wav files definitely don't go silent.

that one's definitely not in this ROM, and I'm not sure how to get another keyboard.. I've never thought about it. I just absolutely hate the plain white keyboard that i suck at using.

I thought i would try this but after a few hours my phone started to freeze so i uninstalled it, big mistake, my phone wouldn't boot and required a hard reset, dammit, just when i had got it working and stable.

So after reinstalling i now have to check on the ringer bug again and i noticed that in Diamond tweaks the ring time ring with delay was reset again and after setting it back to without delay i saw this morning that it was showing with delay? i also saw that in the volume section it was showing the standard WM balloon not default HTC control.
Mike or anyone else in the know... could this be causing the no ring error.. is the registry not being updated properly by diamond tweaks?

I just want to say, in case anyone is wondering or unaware....that Touchpal is the greatest piece of software ever invented in the history of mankind, aside from the first Civilization by Sid Meier of course.

I tried the finger keyboard and the stupid Diamond2 keyboard that required a hard reset to get rid of, and then Touchpal....and I have wet myself several times learning all the wonderfully intuitive features that it offers. And the free version has the style keyboard I prefer anyway....so it is a win all the way around!

Try it for a few minutes and learn the swipe features and you may have a similar reaction to mine....just have an extra pair of pants nearby.

I too use this method. Makes me less nerves about missing important calls. Believe me this works. Just cut and convert ur ringtone to wav and ull be good. I was testing audio files. It seems, for some odd reason, the wav tone works even when the glitch is in effect. If your so sceptical. Troubleshoot it yourself. Wait for your phone to start acting up again make sure volume is up and just place a wav file as ur tone.

I was just curious what everyone else's battery life was using v4.8 of this ROM. I've been only getting about 6-7 hours with emails auto checking every 30 min, beam/BT/wireless off, and sprint radio 1.11. I just got the Diamond and my old touch would get at least a day without a charge. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I LOVE this rom, but I had to ditch it because of battery life. I use other roms with the same programs installed and I get HOURS more battery. I couldn't make it through an 8 hour day with 4.8 I would go almost 2 days with some of the other versions. I just can't figure out what would draw so much. I would typically see 200-500 ma drawing...with other roms I'm down to 75 most of the time.

I've read through amost every page in this thread and tried tons of stuff..it seems like I might not be the only one. There has to be some program that doesn't like MM Roms. Hopefully it gets fixed sometime soon, I hate to jump ship from MM.
