That said, I started using a slightly newer version of SN that works well and you are welcome to try.
I've also attached directions and a CAB that I used for a while for a much newer version... but be warned, it started crashing on me after a while.

YOU ROCK! Thanks. The TeleNav version doesn't include the "drive to" option. I had already tried that. But the new version of Sprint Navigation did the trick.

Embeds GPS data to metadata in photo, allows geotagging.

Since the MightyRom 4.8 for the diamond was build on the TouchPro base program...it could just come down to what time of the year our diamonds were made.

Possible that diamonds made at the first of the year might not accept the Pro's base program.

Note: I'm not saying that my theory is true...but come on...these phone were made to play MP3's.

I got my phone release day from Telus, (August,2008 ) and I've had absolutely no hardware issues. My ringer still works great and I've set my ringtones as MP3, from my windows directory and NOT "My Ringtones".

I kinda wonder if this is effecting everyone or just specifically Telus/Sprint/Alltel, etc

I can tell because it tells me the time I was supposed to receive it and after I receive it I always look at the time. Is this a ROM bug or is this a Sprint/reception issue?

I'm a sprint user and can confirm that I have always had delayed texts, voicemail notices, and missed calls that went straight into voicemial. I've had this over the years with every phone I have had on the sprint network, so I'd say it's sprint.

Yeah, but does it work for you? It's never worked for me under any rom that i've tried - even though it appeared as an option.

Do you still have to "pay to play" on this version? The Sprint Nav app hada 3-day trail and then a daily or monthly useage fee.

OK guys first off, I realize the Mighty ROM is free and I also concede that I am not an expert. The reason I start the post off like this is because I have found Mighty ROM 4.8 to provide me with much poorer battery life than my stock Sprint ROM as well as comparable lag to the stock ROM.

Additionally, there is as much lag with the Mighty ROM as with my stock Sprint ROM.

My guess is that there are methods of tweaking the ROM to get the results I desire, and my searches regarding the poor battery life have not turned up any specific solution(s).

I would be grateful for any pointers, or a link to pointers.

Thanks!
