after flashing 4.8 my phone wont load anymore and just stays at the TOuch diamond screen with the red coding at the bottom, anyone have any idea what happened

so if im reading right if i dont turn off my sound i shouldnt have a problem? that sucks but i suppose ill have to take that for now and hope a new version of the rom comes out or a fix comes out. which ever happens first. crossing my fingers for now...

That should be a test for users too, fortunately for me my no ring problem seems to be fixed. I'll keep testing :)

ive been having no problems after i did ealier reset tone soft reset and then have not touched my volume so far no problems. but we shall see how long that lasts.

flash to shipped rom and then re-flash to 4.8 again.

just make sure you dont turn down your volume after you set it where you want bc then you will get the bug and have to soft reset. but you probly wont realize like i didnt and miss a ton of calls

Regarding the No Ring issue. If Mike cant see the problem then he cant fix it. So only us, the ppl with the glitch can really find out whats going on. What I did notice is when the glitch is in effect. You can gracefully go into settings, phone and change the ringer and allowed to save. BUT.... When you enter the ringer setting in the phone dialer, by going to menu and options. Im either hit with an ringer error (ringer not found or might be corrupted) message. When I select any of the ring tones the ringer wont play or be able to save until I select one of the 1st alarms as a ring tone. So the problem might be link to that.

hmmmmm thats a good thought, i have yet to check my settings menu when i get the bug i just do it throught the tab. but i def should check the menu now and if it happens. i changed my ringer to a mp3 i put in through my comp from one i downloaded from myxer awhile back. maybe the rom/ phone doesnt like myxer tones hahaha... idk just a thought bc i know im not able to download from myxer to my phone it gives me an error when i try. so maybe the files a corrupted in some way? anyway anything is possible.
