can anyone confirm this doesnt have the freezing text?

ok i will try the hotfix
but i am having another severe issue
i flashed to this rom and it worked for like an hour or so then it froze so o soft reset it now it just stays on the startup touch diamond with the red letters on the bottom, i hard reset it and again works fora while freezes and then goes back to the sae startup with the red words and just freezes there
any help is appreciated

I was having the same issue.
I had to flash from 4.6 to stock sprint ROM then back to 4.7.
It has been smooth sailing since.

As for the text freezing, i have not see it yet.
So far so good.

Where u on another custom rom b4 u flashed this 1?If so u should flash back to the rom that came shipped with ur phone(u should do this everytime u flash a custom rom) and retry flashing mikes rom again that should fix the glitches ur having. GL

The freezing SIP was fixed a while ago.

Just when I was getting a little bored of my phone, you guys come out with a wicked ROM (I actually hadn't flashed in a month!--usually 1 week)

Its been recommended on this forum that one flash to a stock ROM, and THEN flash the custom ROM of choice. I personally have NEVER done this, and have had minimal, if any, 'problems' with my device using custom ROMs. I think a hard reset after a flash is enough precautionary action IMHO.

That's how I felt after each rom, until suddenly one rom screwed me up and required the "process." Just keep your fingers crossed... maybe it'll never happen to you, but it does happen...

I dont believe so, it's the standard diamond ezinput. with the compact querty (yes!) and full querty. Not the diamond2 keyboard. Here's the version number from page one.
