Your MightyRom 4.6 was for CDMA, right? So now I can use my GSM Diamond as a paperweight cuz I had a mental pause and crossflashed, heh...some things get better when you cross them...

Mighty's ROM is definitely for CDMA phones only and it will definitely not work on a GSM phone. That said, if you can get your phone into bootloader mode, you can flash a GSM rom on it at that time. Head over to www.xda-developers.com for GSM roms. Good luck!

Thanks 7thson...(Maiden fan as well?) I hope I can get my phone to stop at the RGB screen cos now it doesn't...

Yes, I know this is a CDMA thread but because I used MightyRom 4.6, I figured I would ask the builder himself...guess he's too Mighty to bother with me. It's off to xda I go.

No problem man :) Here's how you get in to bootloader mode, at least on CDMA phones, not sure if it's the same for you but worth trying: Power+VolDown+Reset until tricolour screen is shown.

Once you're in that sceen, get a ROM you like from xda and flash that. XDA is te primary resource for GSM phones and PPCgeeks is the same for CDMA phones. Good luck.

That's just it, I can't get it to stay on the RGB screen. I initiated a hard reset and it zips right by the RGB screen(I don't have time to read any of the info on there...)and off to the boot options(vol up, vol down...etc...)...and my usb connection is not recognised at all...

Yeah guys, I came while reading that post...

Hey with 4.6 I am having some trouble - HTML files don't seem to be associated or something. When I try to open a .html file (for license agreement with RTConfigSP) it gives me the ol "There is no application associated with rtconfig.html" error. Can someone give me the tweak to fix this? I need RTConfig working (as I prefer it over SmartPhoneTracker, and SPT is not active in Mighty 4.6 until I run it for the first time from Program Files).

:)

All I would like is a solid answer like "Yeah, it's bricked" or even "You are a moron. Read up before doing any flashing"...you know...?
I guess I am too retarded for you guys and therefore not worth your time...

Thanks again for putting up a load of posts about something as insignificant as battery drainage(buy a second battery!) and not even pissing my way.

HateMan,
On behalf of the gang, you're welcome.
