The ROM has no freezing at all in texting for me, I just have the radio making my phone go caca and i have to reset, does anyone have any issues with the radio??

I have an issue with 4.6
Its really only when typing a new text message. The phone will say "Loading New Message" and load it, then 2 seconds later, say the same thing and REload it. It does this over and over and over, until you try to send a text. In which case it is 50/50 that it freezes or sends it.
Typing is also VERY slow. It takes quite a while before anything you type shows up, and having autocomplete on, it seems to think for too long when selecting the word you wanted.

Perhaps its just me, I am going to try reflashing.

yeah its freezing for me when I type texts too now, lol.

The FM radio, it starts up, laggy changing stations, cant adjust volume, then when u exit it messes up the taskbar and lags the whole phone, and its not even showing up in task manager

I reported that the freezing was originally gone, after I played for about 10 mins with no freezing issue. I later found that I had not tested it long enough, as I had 3 seperate incidences in less than 5 mins later that day.

Agreed. I use Opera more than anything. So I've noticed most of my freezes there with the last few releases. However, I haven't experienced anything with 4.6 yet, though I only just installed it last night and didn't have much time to spend with it.

Mike,

Is there any chance that with your ROM (I was using 4.5 recently), data is still being exchanged even though Data Connection is turned OFF under Communications Settings?

I just got back from Mexico and Sprint is trying to charge me $100 for roaming data. I made sure that data was turned off as soon as I stepped off the plane. I rebooted a couple of times while there and confirmed data was off after each reboot. Trying to figure out if I should fight this or not...

Has the issue with sound being muted when turning off the screen been resolved? For example when using a media program such as TCMP or coreplayer. I never had any problem on the stock rom, but i have to lock my screen to actually use my phone as a mp3 player(when keeping it it my pocket of course...).

I'm sure that I'll flash a new ROM if Mike puts one out, but I've got to say that there is not one issue with this release so far.
I haven't seen any texting issues. No loss of first character. Fast as all get-out. All my mods work and every program installs flawlessly.
Send this one to Sprint and make them pay for it! This is the way a device of this price SHOULD work out of the box.
