my 4.2 was messing up alot too....but someone suggested flashing back to stock rom then flashing 4.2 instead of flashing cus rom to cus rom and since i have did that mines is running great... thanks mike...hey anyone kno they best keyboard for diamond...like large letters thanks..

yeah thats what im gonna do, just went back to sprint rom, but not decide to go to 4.1 or 4.2, maybe the error was cause by modifing windows system files. (but ive done it before). I kind of like 4.1 better, it ran a little smoother (compared to 4.2 which ran it to fast) anyway i wish i could make flash work in opera again. so what do you recommend 4.1 or 4.2??

4.1 ran smoother to me too but i could go back to 4.1 back wenever i tried my phone still said 4.2 dont kno y

try roming back to (roming is a verb now) sprint stock, once you already went back to sprint stock (or whomever you had before) then make sure you setup active sync (of course you will had already backup your important files), then delete anything a hard powe off-on, then delete anything that is related to the htc running in your internal storage,( for example, i deleted everything except the folder of music, application files that i keep, My Pictures and opera cache folder which i deleted the contexts inside ) once you have cleared your internal storage of origninal files related to any previous rom, then 4.2 it
let it install and boot up go let it load all of your music first, then pictures, then install everything with mimimal reests. later it crashes (like me) but it shouldn't. |

Hey Mike.
Found something interesting that was not happening in 3.9 i believe. Not so much a bug but useful for people that use active sync for work or need push email "as items arrive". If you connect to Active sync via through the PC, establish a connection, then disconnect, push email is not working although it say it is connected. I sent myself test emails to confirm this. A soft reset corrects this but it seems to only occur if you connect to the pc. Just wanted you guys to know in case you were wondering why your email was coming through. Other than that, everything else is good. |

Lots of problems with 4.2 for myself, not knocking you at all Mike, you've done a great job with MightRom and I am very impressed... just it doesn't like my device or something!!! Thanks again for all your hard work and contributions to the diamond community.
4.2 Randomly flashed itself once. (like I got done setting it up and everything, then it kinda froze, so I soft-reset, and when it came back up it brought me to the screen like it was a fresh install, but it retained my old info (programs, contacts, calendar, etc). Then another time it wouldn't open TF3D and the radio kept saying it was disconnected (despite being able to surf the web still!) Then it wouldn't connect to active sync... Installing the Leaked Sprint rom, then going to install 4.2 again to see if that fixes anything... |

I had my phone off last night and on the charger...woke up this morning, took it off - hit the power button and it was in bootloader mode.. a soft reset fixed it, but that's freakin' strange.

same thing happen to me, it bascially reinstalled windows mobile one mine again without completely flashing the device, (i had two calenders, two offices files, two phones, two of everything but it kept al my orignial contacts and ect... yet the programs where not regestered and they where still installed) so im gonna try it again, (just did it now) make sure you clean up your internal storage and flash to another build before going back to Mike's
also --- disable the Today Timeout (find it at start, settings, today, items, change it to 12 hrs and disable it) i really don't know what its purpose other than the device refreshing but this could be related (which i don't know) nice huh |

just finally flashed 4.2 and I think its great. no problems at all.
1 thing I miss is my calender on the home screen of Tf3D, I used to be able to swipe upward with the stylus to go to another page with a smaller clock and it would show multiple calender events. How do I get it to show me multiple calender events? |

I donwload and installed mightyrom 4.2 On the pc i got the message that ROM was successfuly installed. However, when the diamond tried to restart just froze in the logo screen TOUCHDiamond. Tried to soft reset, hard reset, even press volume down, back button+soft reset to enter the restore menu. No luck so far. There is no connection with active sync. I am stuck. Is it bricked? |

I am having the same issue that other people are having a few threads back. When someone calls me, the ringer will not make any noise at all but the phone will light up.
i also tested by putting it on vibrate and it will vibrate when a call is coming in, so it must be a bug with the sound only. please help |

I noticed a bug. I don't know if it's the mighty rom or not. I'm on 4.2 and my wife is on 3.9. Both of the calendars show the holidays one day eailer than what the real day is. In outlook on the computer, the days are right. The exceptions are MLK day, Valentines day, X-mas eve, X-mas, New yrs eve and New years day. I find this very annoying. all my other appts sync up properly. Anybody have any ideas or the same problem?
Thanks, Matt I noticed that if I un-checked the all day event box, it fixed the problem, but that doesn't explain why the other holidays sync properly with the box checked. |

Ive been having sound problems since version 3.7 on my Sprint diamond.
I noticed on version 3.7 when ever i opened Google Maps the sound would stop working, after a soft reset it worked again. Now i am using version 4.0, and most of the time the ringer works, and ive noticed the music player always works, but my youtube browser never ever ever works. Im not complaining, this is the best ROM ever, im just inputting more info, hopefully something is useful |

quick question, i tried the new sprint radio with mighty4.1 but can not get any bars in my home. does anyone know if i can you the verizon TP radio thats at the top of these threads?? on my diamond.
