Shouldn't Sprint replace the phone if they can't fix it??

Has it ever worked? You took it to Sprint with the Stock rom I hope? If you go to the phone and press menu then device information, does yours show a username? (something like yourname@sprintpcs.com?

I had them swap my Diamond the other day, b/c I complaind that the sound randomly shut off and the screen went out and after they activated my phone, all I had to do input the MSID and MSN number and reset it. After a few hours the phone showed roaming, until I made a call from it and let it sit connected for a few. Eventually, the EVDO icon showed up and I was able to do the update profile option in settings. What happens when you try doing that?

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

I recently flashed to this ROM for my Sprint Diamond and have had terrible battery life. My phone was at 60% at around 11pmCST, and by 8:30amCST it was at 19%. The phone was idle the whole time overnight. I had much better battery life on the Juicy 2.4.1 ROM, and hopefully in the next release the battery issue that I am seeing will be fixed.

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

I just applied the battery fix. I thought this ROM already had the battery fix, guess I missed looking for that in the log. Hopefully this will help my battery drainage issues. Thanks.

UPDATE: After fully charging my battery, I immediately dropped down to 94% and it looks like I am still having battery drain issues. Looks like I'll move to the latest Juicy ROM till this issue gets fixed. Also my PP is set to 16. Is there any reason why some of you changed your PP to 0? Did doing this change help improve the battery life? Anyone else have the same battery issue as me even after the battery fix?

heads up boss. the issue with dropping to 94% immediately is not because of battery drain issues. it's infact an issue with the 1% battery driver. You will notice that My rom (MightROM) and Juicy's rom have removed it and went back to the stock battery for this very issue.

Keep in mind, even tho it's 94% it's still techincally fully charged, it's just having trouble reading the top end of your battery.

Hope this sheds some light on your suttle confusion
