go settings>connections>USB to PC> uncheck sync advance option.

once it is connected, you can go back in and check it again

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

Holy crap. I've tried all the Roms out there and this one tops them all. My most current speedtest using this Rom is in my signature and it speaks for itself. I've never gotten over 1500k download and 212 upload on any other rom. I am loving this. My only change was to the pagepool. I took it down to 16. I too would like to get the Sprint TV going though. We need a fix that doesn't screw with the Battery Icon...

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

Battery update: took it off the charger at 8:30 am, and used it pretty frequently during the day (about 30-50 texts, 30 seconds of youtube, opera browsing for a few minutes, and reading email) and it just now hit 5% at 12:30 am. I have auto-backlight and am checking email every 5 minutes, so that is pretty good news for this ROM. I'd say it's like stock or slightly better. It's also gotten faster. I'd say overall good job! This seems like a very good alternative to Juicy's ROM, which is really only stable if you have Telus, which makes sense. Thanks!

P.S. I have noticed that after I flashed my ROM it won't sync to my computer but I'll do the fix that foxnews said and see if that works.

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

DH, how did you end up with so much more storage memory on V.2? I know you removed a couple of personal apps, and I also noticed that Telenav and Express is not included, but is that enough to bump the memory to 88MBs? What else did you take out of the Sprint OE ROM?

Thanks and good work!

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

I had this same problem. What I did was connected my diamond to my pc, opened the device manager on my pc, disconnect your diamond so you can see where the driver is installed, I uninstalled that driver, reset my pc and diamond, connected my diamond to my pc again and it will automatically start downloading your drivers then Active Sync will pop up and your all set!! Hope this helps.

p.s. I LOVE this ROM but went back to the stock Sprint cuz I couldnt get Sprint tv working, is there a fix for this????? Because I am ALWAYS using Sprint tv and DONT want to lose that.

I removed TomTom 7 and Garmin Mobile XT. Their combined size once cooked in is about 50mb.

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

I'm noticing something that may or may not be related to Sprint TV working, or even related to the rom.

In the ##3282# menu, The Primary Home Agent IP address is set to 255.255.255.255, which is not correct. It should be something along the lines of 68.28113.*. Is it possible Sprint TV is only checking the Primary Home Agent and not falling back to Secondary if the first is not working? I've tried to edit it, but it won't allow me to.

I'm trying to download S/W now to change it on the PC, but I can't find it in my live mesh. Can anyone else check this out?
