Thanks!

Use the reg tweak Tobey posted or try this, which, if I remember correctly, was originally posted by IndaGroove. It is the same reg tweak in a cab.

It could be in my head but the "circular button" does seem more sensitive.
Since I didn't think it was sensitive enough before I like it.

Time to try and try down my Opera crashing problem. I saw it mentioned SOMEWHERE before.
*/fingerscrossed I changed the opera.ini so far just to see if it could there.

yeah, i experience what you describe here except that it doesnt even bring up the screen to lower the volume at all...

for the time being i've been adjusting volume thru the comm mgr... havent been in front of a comp long enough to work on fixing this yet.

Re: How To: Kitchens

I am unable to turn off the word suggestion while typing with the new OEM. I am using the 5.0 kitchen and sys 20931 5a.

With the same configuration except for 2.03 OEM I did not have this problem.

*edit* This is using a 3rd party keyboard... just found a workaround though by clicking the t9 button on the full qwerty keyboard then reverting to 3rd party keyboard.

*edit* I actually had several problems with that build... including people could not hear me at all on the phone. I flashed back to my build with the 2.03 OEM and am good to go again.

My in call volume works fine.

I'm also connected via activesync right now.

Request for Bug Posting Standardization!
I'm posting this, because too many of the things requested on here cannot be replicated by me without extensive effort, and I don't like wasting time trying to break something on my phone that is working fine.

When you recognize a bug, please do all of these things, or I won't attempt to fix it.
1. Replicate the bug on the stock settings of BuildOS (do not change any checks) and with no add-ons, including customization.

2. If you can't, try and narrow it down yourself by testing, AND give a COMPLETE list of ANY changed you made from the stock settings. This includes checking or unchecking programs in BuildOS, changing registry entries, adding your own programs, etc.

3. Post the bug, along with the following information template.
Code:

Kitchen Base:
SYS:
OEM:

Changed BuildOS settings:

Other changes/programs:

Re: How To: Kitchens

I'm gonna try out that new OEM and re-flash using a the previous opera version. I've had a GREAT run with the last ROM I flashed and only found one annoyance. After a while of having used Opera it refuses to download any page. I have to stop the Pre Launcher and Opera9 processes for it to work again. Maybe its the fact that I'm copy/pasting Juicy's Opera9.ini file straight over the stock one. I'm gonna do my own testing now and try the new OEM for kicks.

:)

Can anyone tell me which version of Adobe reader 2.5 has the option to 'reflow' a page? and is there an OEM somewhere for it? TIA

Re: How To: Kitchens

I'm muddling my way through this.
Changing the INI from the posted "2745" and I still had the crash.
I copied the folder to the phone but DIDN'T overwrite any existing files.
AND copied back the "tweaked" INI from the OEM and I haven't had a lockup yet.
My reasoning is: I know that version of Opera works well without crashes so it has to be something else.

I'm confident this will be my last ROM for awhile if the Opera crashing is fixed.

Thanks Again.
