So I just cooked a new one with the new OEM 2.00, SYS 20924 v2b, and Kitchen 2.03.... the small blue keyboard is back. Anyone know how to get the regular keyboard working?

Look at the value of this registry setting. If it's a "0", then change it back to "1":

;Kill small Keyboard SIP (change to "0")
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSipInputMethod]
"Default"="1"

The little blue keyboard is a full qwerty. Its extremely small letters and requires a stylus to even select a key.

Ill try the registry edit here in a few.

ok... but there is the option of full querty or keyboard... you're choosing keyboard... why not choose full qwerty?

Excellent! You were exactly right. Much simpler than the whole registry change.

what the hell am i doing wrong here???

i'm using kitchen 2.03, OEM 2.0, SYS 20924 v2b, but the only way i can get TF3D to lauch is using the alltel manila. choosing any other manila results in "tap here to launch touch flo"

also, the only keyboard that will display correctly is the tiny qwerty. the full and compact qwerty keyboards just leave a blank space where they should be.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

Try building a ROM without changing any selections in BuildOS, does that work?

changing only the carrier selection to sprint, it works fine from what i can see (except GPS, which i think Calcu pointed out in his ROM thread. GPS worked fine with 1.08 OEMs).

any reason it wouldn't be working when i choose any of the other manila files?

guess i'll keep playing around with it...

I'm 100% aware of that sorry if I may be causing confustion tobey! This kitchen rocks and its awesome that so many people are digging into it. :)

I've uploaded OEM 2.01 and SYS 20924 v2c. Most issues should be fixed, BT does not work though:( Maybe tomorrow.

Enjoy.

Thanks to Ghetto for all the work with me on OEM 2.xx, without him, there would be no Kitchen. Also for a few of the updates on the SYS.

Thanks also to Calcu for the attempt at BT, I couldn't get it, but there's always tomorrow, also thanks for pointing out the missing VC.
