I experienced the similar problem in one of previous roms. You may try hardreset to see if it solves the problem.

Try a soft reset first.

Here is the prog to get rid of the "Sprint" and replace it with anything else.

It is a setting in Advance Config.

ok, so I just completely killed my battery until it won't turn back on. So I am going to recharge it to 100% and then reflash and not install anythign or do any mods and see what kind of battery life i get.

hopefully it will make some difference.
