I was amazed at the GPS performance too. I would normally find 7 outdoors, now I am seeing 10 from my bedroom...and within 15 seconds as well...maybe even 10.

One thing that I noticed is the Youtube lag in some videos. Just as a test, I just reflashed to the stock Sprint ROM. I'm going to play the same video that is giving me really bad lag with Juicy 2.1. I'm hoping that the lag still exists in the stock ROM. I'll report back shortly.

Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

Okay, I am happy to report that I am having the same laggy issues with some Youtube videos with a fresh install/hard boot using the stock Sprint ROM as I am with Juicy 2.1 with 24MB Pagepool.

Some videos are smooth as butter, others are slightly choppy...but the symptoms are the same regardless of the ROM used or the Pagefile size.

Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

Another thing I wanted to report on was using SPB Backup. I installed Juicy 2.1 last night and spent a few hours customizing. After we all started talking about bumping the pagepool from 6 to 16/24, I wanted to get that going...but didn't want to have to re-do all the work I just did customizing. I flashed again using the Juicy 2.1 (w/24 MB pagepool), did a hard reset, installed SPB Backup after auto customizations took place, then restored my backup without any issues. I didn't expect there to be any issues though...

Great work Juicy!

I've done a few soft resets and pulled the battery but nothing seems to help short of a hard reset which I don't really want to do. Help is appreciated. Thanks.
Ok, I found the problem for me anyways. I did a hard reset and installed everything I had before and same problem. I did another hard reset and I didn't install what I thought was the likely culprit which turned out to be, drum roll please, dcd Sprint Carrier 20080823.cab and viola, my battery meter shows correct on the Home screen. So Sprint people, don't install this cab if you want to be able to see your battery life on the Home screen.

Why are you happy to report that you are having the same laggy issues in Juicy's ROM?
