Re: [09/10/08] JUICY ROM v1.07

Could it be all the G-sensor enhancements, and touch sensitivity enhancements that would make the battery drain quicker?

Edit: Just read posts behind me, heh. Hopefully this can be fixed on 1.08.

i noticed that with mine today.. soon as i took it off the charger, i made one text message, looked @ my phone... 93% i think it's a bug. i saw some other people complaining about that issue with other battery plugins!!!

yah i thought this was weird too today at work. i noticed some fast drain but i was screwing around with it so much i thought it could be normal.

The battery % isnt overly repeatable in the 90 - 100% range. This is probably why htc defualts to 10% increments

but would the inaccuracy report a way off % value? thus making us think a drain is apparent when its not.

I would say there's a bit on inaccuracy in the plugin. I fully charged my Diamond about 15mins ago, just turned it on from standby and it's 91%.

Also did the same thing last night, had it fully charged, but I actually turned it off overnight and when I turned it on in the morning, it was 91%.

Seems like the battery % tweak could still use a little tweakin.

would having the weather update automatically drain the battery significantly faster? when i flashed 1.07 the weather was set to update automatically...don't remember what it was set to in earlier roms....

Ghetto is right. The % is not completely accurate and can be misleading at times. With that said I admit that the battery life in 1.07 is unacceptable, and will correct things in 1.08 - at the cost of g-sensor sensitivity and light sensor settings.
