hey ghetto, thanks for the kitchen! just going through it and saw something minor in your reg tweaks for the network tweaks...you have:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersio n\Internet Settings]
...
...

just wondering if it should be:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings]
...
...

gps works with 3rd party apps out of the box, just go outside and wait a couple of minute for the first lock.

a couple min is unacceptable with the gps hacks we get a lock in a couple seconds.

The registry hacks will be in the next rom, but you still have to do the QPST ones.

Between quickGPS and the registry hacks, Im getting sub 10s locks. 1.03 will be released maybe Sunday, Monday for sure. Busy weekend boys. Have fun and party

Would you mind posting a .cab for quickGPS on its own so we can try it without flashing the complete ROM?

I'm not aware of a .cab of the VGA (Diamond version) of QuickGPS. Suffice to say, if you flash something made with ghetto's kitchen or my ROM (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36083) will not be disappointed in the GPS performance.

Yeah....I apperciate all the work you guys have already put into these ROMS and the necessary tools. I have done a lot of tweaks to my device and I just don't have the time at the moment to redo everything for a week or two, so I was hoping for a .cab that worked on the Diamond for quickGPS, to hold me over.

My ROM contains most of the popular diamond/battery/security tweaks already.
