just loaded up standard 6.5 and i have to say that im gonna try an flash the standard 6.5.x just cuz the taskbar. the tb in the 6.5 is kinda...ummm (def. not the 1 in the ss) i just assumed, even thou the ss are of 6.5.x, it would of been the same. but i'll go 6.5.x (not how sure my girl will like the 6.5.x builds, this will be her 1st, shit even mine ha)

Flashed ---Mar.10_W.M. 23544_Sense Ui "Lite" a few hours ago and noticed when I go to the Settings tab and click Sounds & Display it crashes and about 10 seconds later HTC Sense relaunches. Soft reset and same thing. possible bug?

You just updated all ROMs? with what? Also wondering what the differences between 23544 and 21895 are? Is one more stable than the other? Is there a list of what the Lite version excludes?

i can answer part of your question... 23544 build is a 6.5.x rom which will be less stable than a 6.5 rom (which is what 21895 is)

as far as the lite version, i dunno. i asked earlier and he said it just doesnt have certain apps as the standard. my guess is (since the 6.5.x build has these) total commander, phm reg. editor, pim backup, clean ram, ark switch, xda shutdown (maybe sum other standard wm apps) are not included...?? thats all an assumption as those are on the 6.5.x cuz thats what i flashed.

i dont have much experience w/ the 6.5.x builds as i never flashed 1 until today on my girls diamond (i have tp2) and to me (not comparing to any others as i dont have that experience) it seems slow/sluggish BUT agian thats to be expected w/ these newer builds (not anything the chef can do) so for stable i would suggest the 6.5 builds and for play the 6.5.x builds.

and im also not sure how well the sense 2.5 was ported over but that could cause sum slowness/sluggish-ness too, agian as it wasnt made for this phone. BUT agian im no expert and this is just wat i been reading on the tp2 side of the forums so i couldnt say for sure w/ the diamond side... also the cookie home mod is cool shit, i use it on my tp2, but that was made for the hd2 so that could cause sum slowness although he has made it much more stable for vga (what i have read) agian im no expert, just sharing my thoughts and what i have read on the other side (tp2, yea baby)

but on another note... its still a nice rom newest 6.5.x, chef! its my 1st try into these builds and wasnt even on my phone. so for the couple hrs i was playing on it (getting it set up for my girl) i had a gud wirl w/ it. now when she wakes up, we'll have to see her thoughts at the end of the day and if anything important (bug) she notice, i'll report back to help out.

I just installed the 3/10 6.5.X version and I have to say that so far this ROM seems a lot less laggy and a little smoother than the 3/4 6.5.X version. I don't have all of my 3rd party apps installed yet but so far everything seems very snappy. Nice work!!

I just recently got a touch diamond cdma replacement from sprint. My questions are 1) is my phone locked, 2) is there a thread on unlocking, 3) which build should i get if i want a stable one?
I dont mean to be in any way annoying cuz i know it sucks repeating things to newbies. Im just amazed at fr3sh_to_d3f's builds...=D>

You can access sounds and notifications through settings in the start menu for now. Read the changelog for the updates thats why its there. 23544 is 6.5.x and 21895 is 6.5. The lite version doesnt include any 3rd party apps i put in the standard version.

well running on 2.5 on a touch pro 2 and then on a diamond, you are definitly going to notice a difference in speed. also the manila 2012 port was ported by amarullz which is the VGA porting KING...literally so it has nothing to do with the porting but just the diamond and what it can handle. The cookie mod speeds the home screen up because of the more simple animations he uses..I can tell a difference between his new animations and the original. thanks for the compliments and I hope she likes it! :mrgreen:

Yes its locked so read through the first sticky post and this will get you to where you need to be. Both are stable in my mind but 21895 is the most stable but 23544 is more finger friendly.

I cannot get an internet connection with the 3/8 Andriod files. But I could with the 3/1 files. Any ideas?

I dnt make the files i just post them. HERE is where you need to post about problems with Android. Many people have the same problems with the builds so this would be the best place to find solutions or whats causing the problem. :mrgreen:
