International Text Charges
 

Okay recently after flashing the ROM on my Touch Pro to the Reflectionist 23414 ROM I started getting International Text Message charges from Sprint even though I'm still in the the USA. I asked Sprint and they don't know why this is happening, any ideas. Just to test a theory I flashed back to Psyki 4 - Custom Glass Manila 2.1 (23017.5.3.0) ROM to see if the charges still appeared and they did. Once I flashed to the standard Sprint ROM they stopped.

I love the ROM's here and I hate the stock roms any one have an idea as to why this is happening and how I can stop it? I just can't pay $.20 per message to Sprint when I'm in Virginia and have the unlimited texting plan. Thanks.

i got international text charges a while ago. i think it might have been related to using Seven for push email. this was like a year ago though

Yes, that was the case, and still is.

SEVEN uses international texts. Don't like it? Don't use it!

Seven will send an international text ( Isle of Mann I believe) when you install it or re-install it. It should not send a text at any other time. I'd check those ROMS for Seven. If they have it and you keep getting charged, check the Seven beta boards. I think one of the betas might of had a problem where it would send additional texts.

I got charge for international text messages using 7, 3 times charged i dont know why.

Sprint has always charged international text .... and it is .20 per international text ... it isn't the ROM ... solution stop sending international texts

Yes it is probably SEVEN push mail. I never even noticed it was charging me until someone here said it does. I checked my bill and over the past year I had been charged almost a total of $20 so I stopped using it. I just wish there was another program like this that doesn't charge. SEVEN doesn't even get the $ lol
