SMS Sprint carrier to other carriers..????

Has there ever been reported an issue between sprint and T-Mobile for sending/receiving text messages? I txt one person on t-mobile, usually daily... this person receives probably less than half of what I send... if I resend the msg a few times, it'll get through... same for me receiving, don't always receive the messages...

I'm running MightROM 6, the recipient is using a sidekick, stock t-mobile phone...

Just trying to figure out what's going on... as of late it's been quite worse.
