Sprint Mobile Broadband
Hello is the mobile broadband faster then using the phone hooked up to the laptop?
if so, how much faster and what deals can I get buying the mobile broadband? |
Re: Sprint Mobile Broadband
I think it is a little faster. Maybe 100kbps faster.
I think those air cards/broadband cards are cheap to buy you just have to pay a monthly fee for access. I think about $40. |
Re: Sprint Mobile Broadband
They both use the same EVDO.

Re: Sprint Mobile Broadband
its evdo but lappys have faster processors and faster pcix bus speed so its gunna be like slow cable connection and its like 70 for unlimited data otherwise its cheaper for up to 5 gigs

Re: Sprint Mobile Broadband
I use a Franklin 680 USB with Millenicom for mobile laptop access. Millenicom uses the Sprint network and its been reliable and functional. The thing I like about Millenicom is that for the same price as Sprint ($60 month) it is NOT limited to 5 gigs which it would be if you have the same plan at Sprint. Also, there is NO contract. You can quit at any time and sign up again with no ETF's or other contract issues.
Unless you have a really old laptop it will appear faster because you will be using a device with a faster processor and processing and more memory. R |
