That, and they couldnt provide me proof that i signed a contract... (i.e... no signature, no go)

did you check the contract or just check upgrade eligibility because i know back in those days any esn change would reset the upgrade eligibility unless someone at sprint went through and manually changed it back?

Sprint does have a current "No-Contract" plan available. You provide/buy the phone at full retail...

i logged on here to point that out, i noticed it while i was flipping through our brochures, but rstoyguy beat me to it. and yeah that is a horrible plan but if you wanna skip the contract, they wanna make you pay

I see that, i just dont understand why they dont do contracts on a case by case basis... I been a loyal customer since i was 16, 10 years ago! Plus with the plan i have now, I have no intention on switching, i just like the option to be able to. ;)

because carriers are insecure little girls with abandonment issues? i dunno, i think its messed up and there should be a contractless option thats reasonable. who knows maybe with this anti-trust investigation of the big carriers (supposedly) gearing up maybe we'll see something change
