Re: Alltel Touch Pro now $80..... WHat/??!!
Anyone looking for a good deal on a TP or Diamond try http://rx.sprintshops.com/default.aspx. You can sometimes get a TP for 49.99, right now the Diamond is 49.99. This is good on new lines of service only. This place is 100% legit. Check this thread for info http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=1260527. Coz, if posting this is against the rules, then remove it if necessary

Re: Alltel Touch Pro now $80..... WHat/??!!
I had been watching the Alltel website for quite a while due to the price being anywhere from $100 - $200 cheaper given the day of the week on the TP. I stopped in to a couple of different stores and was given the same story, that the online store is an independent contractor and that the prices you see are only for new service contracts. I asked if I could add a phone on to my plan at the online price and was told no. I just purchased my TP last week for $359.00 before the $100.00 rebate along with the $20.00 early upgrade charge. The very next day, it was $79.00 on the website. Oh well, it's going back tomorrow as the GPS is crap and doesn't work at all. Alltel tech support said the gps works without loading the NAV program, but I think they are wrong.......
