TP nice, Plan Rates nice, Sprint CSR not so nice

ok, so i've worked in customer service before.. i know how annoying and dim-witted people can be... but there really are some CSR's that just refuse to work with you no matter what!!

so i just need to vent and want to share my experience in case anyone is having the same issues....

first:
i purchased my phone @ Best Buy... found a rebate form and sent it in....this rf never mentioned anything about BB not being a "qualified store location" and on top of that many people here in this forum mentioned that they submitted the rebate and it was processed!

ok #2
i get horrible reception in my home... delayed txt msgs and dropped calls all the time.... why a service rep cant offer some advice, solution, heck even sympathise with my situation is beyond me.. instead i get the run-around about how my phone is being "updated" and it should work fine when it obviously didn't.

so after numerous calls... all dropped calls as a matter of fact, after being told a manager will call me back after their meeting (wtf?) and after not receiving said call... do you know what finally got a response? well if you guessed the threat of canceling my service you are correct!! i dont want to cancel my service but if no one is willing to help me why am i throwing away over 120$ a month for horrible service??

finally a nice woman by the name of Samantha, an account specialist, got my rebate approved and offered to send me an Air Rave - at no cost to me- to deal with my signal problems...THATS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE... i mean i dont want to sound cheap or pushy but seriously.. if other people are getting these checks and i'm having nothing but problems with my signals... why not oblidge and make a customer happy - a customer that WANTS to stay with sprint and likes his TP....

ahhhhhhhh.... i feel better.... just needed to exhale... moral of the story.. ASK FOR SAMANTHA!

So does the Airave solve your signal problems?? Do you still have to pay the monthly price for it to use it??? I would buy one if I didnt need to pay monthly just to use it. I am more then happy using my own minutes, as I dont need any other minutes, I just need a better signal at home. My signal at home is horrendous.

I personally pay for the airave, 4.99 a month and I like it but I hear of other people who get it free.

I just havnt called and tried to get it for free.

But yeah, the AR is nice and works great except for evdo.

You double dipped on the rebate - BB applies all rebates at purchase.

Well done.

The home reception issue usually is fixed (after 1000 calls) by sprint giving away an air-rave. This is why they're not making any money vs verizon or AT&T, who simply laugh at you if you call and say you get no reception in your home.
