I just got done talking with a sprint rep and she said that a phone cannot be replaced by assurion that is not purchased directly from the sprint store.. Is this true? Because I have had friends who have bought phones off eBay and got them replaced through assurion after they broke.

I've had phones replaced by Asurion that I bought from Best Buy. But then Sprint stopped doing it.

BWT: First person I've ever seen that spells Shaun the same as me.

So us that bought our phones 3rd party with insurance, we don't get covered? I need to look up my terms.
