The ppc's are done very differently from the other phones please do not attempt to follow the above post as its not for a pocket pc nor anyway related to ppcgeeks.com at all. I am very familiar on how to flash dumbphones and ppc's to cricket but this thread is about using your other carriers PPC on VZW. Mod please remove the above post.

Thanks for your post. I was able to get this working successfully (I think). Just to verify, if I dial *228 and it goes to the Verizon phone programming, that means I'm on Verizon correct?

Also, on my screen (I have an Apache), it still says Sprint PCS. For me, this isn't a huge deal because I only really care about functionality, but I am curious how to change that to Verizon.

It may help you to know that I cooked my own ROM because I couldn't get the Helmi one to work for some reason.

Anyway, it's not a big deal, but I am curious.

Info on getting esn on network is not working anymore but programming settings do if you find a way to get the esn on.

where are epst settings saved? registry? is it possible to write a mortscript to automate the process?

Please help me. I have two sprint touch's (vogues) and put the xda final open carrier ( v17 by NSFFAN) rom on them with the pri for verizon now when my Sprint is off can I have verizon just activate them? Please help. I need to know that everything will work including GPS and EVDO thank you. The rom is a windows mobile 6.5 if you don't know.
