Just got this in an email yesterday...
Verizon Wireless Discount Get a 10% discount on recurring monthly charges from Verizon Wireless. Discount available to new customers, add a line and upgrades with purchase of a Verizon device. To get your discount: Purchase your wireless device at Amazon Wireless or Wirefly.com using our links. Send an email at verizon@studentrate.com with your first name, last name, last 4 digits of SSN#, cell phone number, daytime phone number, email address, zip code. We will apply the 10% discount to your account. I know a little about Amazon wireless and their policies, but I'm totally unfamiliar with Wirefly. Is Wirefly pretty much the same deal as Amazon wireless? Free 2 day shipping?

I think Amazon has better prices. Plus if you already have an Amazon account it makes it super easy to order anything.

I just signed up last night and got the Charge, switched from Sprint. Sent the email to Student Rate. Will see what happens with this discount.

I ended up going through their Wirefly links to get the Droid X for $0.00. Wirefly is having a back to school free phone event right now. I sent an email to studentrate too for the 10% off my bill.

Everyone, if your with a big company and have a email address with them, check on VZW.com, I do contracting I found the largest one so far at 23% off. They only do that one time check, I left a company and still had my discount on my account years later...
