What does one do with all this speed anyway?
Considering you ARE getting that speed...
I get faster numbers at work on the T1.
So what?
Can you use it UNLIMITED?

If the theoretical max speed is 42 megs, I don't think the 12 megs he got in that speed test is unreasonable. I would actually expect him to get even faster speeds.

Besides, if your friends are getting 5 megs, and the network is twice as fast in his area, 12 megs is not unexpected.

You're getting sidetracked. A couple posts back, the op once again asked me for proof. I give proof and now I'm lying :D. Now, all of a sudden, it ain't about speed lol.

Yes, you can use T-Mobile's data unlimited. They don't have a cap.

Supposedly they throttle speed on abusers after 5 gigs, but I don't know that it's ever happened. Apparently you have to go way over, several months in a row, for that to happen.

I'm not saying your lying or making things up. I'm saying something is skewed. What browser areyou using? Internetexplorer does it proxy or use a server? That could affect results. I mean its gotta be something.

Still confused on why every search I do comes up with something like this

"The HD7 doesn't work with T-Mobile's new HSPA+ network, as all Windows Phone 7 devices max out at HSPA 7.2"

It's also NOT listed on their site as a 4G device with the G2 or Mytouch 4G.

Yeah it's something... It's 42 meg hspa+.

Seriously, he has a theoretical max speed of 42 megs and you're doubting he can actually get 12 megs?
