Don't be mad at me doc, but I think its a fluke. I know several people on t.mo, and no one gets speeds like that. Does winphone 7 have a speed test app, or just websites.
I've noticed I can make he results on that site fluctuate by a lot by changing the packet size.

Do your friends have 4G compatible phones?

Faster speed on a mobile device will just guarantee that you'll reach your cap faster.
The cap that I don't have on Sprint.
So when you're done with your data... I'll still be going.
Quantity Vs Velocity.
It's just a matter of prefference.

post them :), maybe the site is wrong. i know that everyone who has a hd7 says it's fast and smooth...i'm just posting what it says. as i keep saying, i still have sprint, i'm not out to make them look bad...they're doing it themselves. all i said, having both sprint and t-mo, that i wouldn't pay extra for the same thing. here's an article from 5 days ago, t-mo vouches for those speeds and i concur :).

T-Mobile doesn't have a data cap. You're thinking of AT&T.

Run those tests over the 3 or 4g network... Not over some modem on wifi.

Besides... You are attacking our beloved sprint.
What gives Doc? Separation anxiety?

Yes, I know 3 people with the mytouch4g. And their speeds are more like mine on wimax. Anywhere from 2500 to 5000. If t.mo speeds were really like that, the average posted on that site wouldn't be 10 times less than docs speed. I'm going to the t.mo store ton.ite after work to play with their demo phones. I think it may have something to do with that phone fooling the site, just like the snapdragon fools quadrant with the floated benchmarks.

lol, the hd2 was used via wifi just to post the pic, or i would've had to switch sim cards :). the isp wouldn't have shown up on the mobile speed test site, either ;).

Maybe your area hasn't been upgraded yet. T-Mobile is doubling their 4G speed network wide. Doubling it again next year too (to 84 meg theoretical max).
