Sprint lies: $10 excluded from employee discount

So all the Sprint employees told me over and over again that the $10 was included in the employee discount. turns out that it is not.
This is an extra $24 charge a year.

Everything Data - 450 Anytime Minutes Included $69.99
Employee Discount Sprint 19% -$13.30
Premium Data $10.00
Total Equipment Protection - $3 insurance premium & $4 service/repair $7.00

$69.99 * .19 = $13.30
it should be
$79.99 * .19 = $15.20

or next month when my new employee discount goes in place
$69.99 * .22 = $15.40
it should be
$79.99 * .22 = $17.60

Everything that has come out and has been posted online all say it is not included.

They did not lie... Sprint changed the rules of the game... at the time you were told about discounts it was probably true... I used to get a discount on everything before taxes, including the $19.99 charge on my extra lines... the employee discount ONLY applies to the main line and nothing else on any other lines... line fees, 4G, etc, are all now excluded... I fought to the death over this and eventually got a one time credit to offset some of the losses... and they offered to let me out of ETF charges if I wanted to leave... but at the end of the day, they are still much better and cheaper than the competition, so it's a take or leave it situation...

yes they do lie about it. I called and ask 5 different people about this when I called in September. The 'Rule Change' happened in August. In September, I specifically asked all of the employees that I called if the 22% discount would be off the $69.99 or the $79.99 and they said that the only thing that would not be included was the taxes and insurance.

They may have not been up on par with the new changes..unless sales told you..sales lies like there is no tomorrow...

Yeah. It sucks that they took away the discounts on the lines and addons. The only thing now that they discount are any addons that are $30 or higher. No one ever gets those addons anymore. Its a waste of money. Oh well. They are still a good deal.

Thats why I went with an EDRP family plan rather then a discounted plan..made more economical sense :/

they are actually no longer a good deal since my co-worker has 2 iPhones with 2GB data plans for the same price of my one phone.

Sprint did make a change... they put it in their fine print. look at http://shop.sprint.com/assets/pdfs/e...comparison.pdf and search for 'other terms'. I'd expect that it's in lots of their other printed material but this was the first thing that a quick google search pulled up for me. It's better to read the terms and conditions over asking a Rep on the phone who probably hates their job and could care less of anything besides making it sound like they helped you and getting you off the phone.

I thought obama made fine print illegal?
